    Guys, think of it like a Body. The Motherboard is like your spine, nothing in your body would work without it. The CPU is like your brain, carries out enormous amount's of jobs. The Power Supply is like the food you eat, it fuels the tasks going on in your body. And the GPU (or Video Card) is like your limbs, you can often live without them, but that effort would be strained on other parts of your body. The RAM (or memory) Is like your veins, it is in charge of doing stuff that the brain cannot do, also it disperses information throughout the body. And the PC Case, is like your skin, You have to have a safe place to keep all your parts.

    • @g0ggy
      @g0ggy 10 ปีที่แล้ว +24

      Some of these comparisons are really not that well chosen. The PSU is more like your heart/lungs, blood etc.. The "energy" your body gets would be simply electricity that is used up in all your body parts. And a GPU would be more like your eyes or all your senses when combined with a monitor.
      You don't have to make comparisons to a human body to make it understandable. CPU and motherboard are the only examples that really do fit for a comparison.

    • @ElectroManGaming24
      @ElectroManGaming24 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As well as your body is in need of power, a power supply is the power. without food, your lungs would not work. So that is correct. I meant to take the GPU as something that is expendable. Senses are not really expendable. But eyes can be.

      ***** Kinda trying to get the grasp of normal peoples perspective on how to view a PC. That was me tying purely for those who do not know what a computer does, or what the processes are like. But in some cases it does kinda work, RAM uses it's pathways to make it possible for things to work correctly was what i was getting at.

    To the newbies out there, if you want to have the option to upgrade or even replace faulty parts in the future then stay away from Dell and Apple. They don't use industry standard parts, meaning you have to pay whatever extortionate price they feel like charging you if you need to fix or upgrade your system.

    • @JusttAlf
      @JusttAlf 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well... As overpriced as Apple may be, at least they will fix (And with fix I mean replace) your faulty hardware... But still, don't get near them, they suck, It's like the consoles for the Workstation market

    • @Wunderlag
      @Wunderlag 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      to extend your comment:
      ... but there is a reason for the non-industry standard decision: The size of the whole thing. Replaceable part systems require room to fit different sized parts. This is where Apple, Dell, Laptops and Phones come in: They cram everything into the smallest possible place to save on room but sacrifice the ability to replace parts (mostly).

    • @StandardsFtw
      @StandardsFtw 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      LeperAffinity5 Dear god no. The fact that that all does nothing but shill out razer gear is not only just insulting to anyone who knows anything about peripherals, but it argues that "professional players use this sensitivity, so it's good!"
      Besides, not everyone is a CS player.

    • @frostyyjack
      @frostyyjack 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      because CS went from good (1.6) to trash (GO), just another reference, it's better I point someone in somewhat of a direction, rather than just reading it and not posting anything. Either way, good luck.

    • @StandardsFtw
      @StandardsFtw 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      LeperAffinity5 Or just because not everyone cares about competitive FPS games. Just a thought. It's not a direction, and that's my point. It's advertising mediocre gear, and the only bit of helpful information is the 6/11 speed in windows. You could've just told him the rest. DPI/Sensitivity are highly up to preference and what types of games you play.

    I have a desktop unfortunately it's motherboard was stopped working so I went to shop to get it fix and they did but now when I use my computer it works very slowly and now my PC shows that it has no graphics it shows NA. even when I use to watch TH-cam video it works slow. so my question is "does this happen because I had changed my motherboard?"
