ತೆಲುಗು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಲಯಾಳಮ್ ಚಿತ್ರ ರಂಗದ ನಂಟೂ ಕೂಡ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಬೆಳವಾಡಿಯವರಿಗಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ಕಲಾವಿದರಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಬೆಳವಾಡಿ, ಮೇಕ್ ಅಪ್ ನಾಣಿ ಎಂದೇ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಬೆಳವಾಡಿ ನಂಜುಂಡಯ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಂಗಭೂಮಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿರಿ-ಕಿರಿ ತೆರೆಗಳ ಚಿರಪರಿಚಿತ ಕಲಾವಿದೆ ಭಾರ್ಗವಿ ನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಅವರ ಮಗ. ತಮಗೆ ಸಿಗುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಬೆಳವಾಡಿ,
ಆ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. 2003ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಬೆಳವಾಡಿ ಅವರು, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದ #Stumble ಎಂಬ ಸಿನೆಮಾ, ಆ ಸಾಲಿನ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಚಿತ್ರ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಗಳಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ರಂಗಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಬೆಳವಾಡಿ, ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮತ್ತು ರಂಗಭೂಮಿಗಳೆರಡೂ ಬೆಳೆಯಲು ಪೂರಕವಾಗುವಂಥ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಪೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರಿಗೆ, ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗ ಮತ್ತು ರಂಗಭೂಮಿಗಳ ಮೇಲಿರುವಷ್ಟೇ ಕಾಳಜಿ, ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಮೇಲೂ ಇದೆ. ಕೆಲ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ, ಆಗಿನ ರಾಜ್ಯಸರ್ಕಾರ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಕ್ಕಿನ ಮೇಲ್ಸೇತುವೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಹೊರಟಾಗ ಅದರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಬೀದಿಗಿಳಿದು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಬೆಳವಾಡಿ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಳಕಳಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞಾವಂತ ನಾಗರೀಕ. ತಮ್ಮ ನೇರ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳಿಂದ, ಬುದ್ಧಿಜೀವಿಗಳ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಬೆಳವಾಡಿ ಅವರು, ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಅನೇಕದ ಬಿಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟ ಬುತ್ತಿಯ ಇಂದಿನ ಅತಿಥಿ.

The best thing about this interview was I and my friends always knew prakash Belawadi sir as an villain actor.... But there is so much to life behind him... He speaks about ecology, economy, nativity,farmers .... Hats off sir... Hats off to Madhyama Aneka team for getting these kind of splendid souls to the public without commercialising the interview...
