Hi Timothy! Canton, NC, now that's a beautiful, nice, vibrant town center; surprisingly large. It is also very peaceful and is located in a beautiful setting. I really enjoyed this walk and talk, Timothy. As it relates to taggers, they are a public nuisance. Taggers always destroy things with graffiti (unintelligible nonsense or single random words), causing costly destruction of property everywhere they go. They are nothing but blatant vandals, period, who affect the entire community and derail its beautification efforts with their unrelenting lawlessness and foolishness. They make property look rundown. Be and stay safe out there, Timothy! GOD bless!
Thank you, I will. And I agree with you about graffiti.
Agreed keep Tagging in California which is the Graffiti Capitol of the US.......They don't charge them with tagging or for that much anything..... Be Well.
@@MegaBait1616 Yep 👍
I lived there when I was a teen and I still visit home and it's true we had a bad smell from champion
Thanks for letting us know. 👍
Yes it smelled like rotting cabbage lol
I had heard that. Thanks for confirming 😀
Even though I live here I really enjoyed this video. I think the Mill smelled like boiled cabbage, I didn't mind it much. I got used to knowing what time of day it was when the Mill horn went off. 505 Main St. is a thrift store and their main goal is helping people, especially flood victims. Can't wait to watch more of your journey!!
Thank you. And thanks for sharing your knowledge of the town 👍
Yes, you could really tel (the Smell !)l when you you were driving near the Paper Mill, Canton area.
That’s what I had heard. Thanks for confirming 👍
That was the smell of Money back then.
@bianchiveloce1 You got that right.👍
@@bianchiveloce1that smell of money is quite familiar in Jacksonville Florida 😅
@@bianchiveloce1 …The smell of pollution.
We frequent Canton , it is not far from Asheville. Yes when the mill was open you could smell the really bad smell miles away as we could smell it in Candler,Asheville and as far north as Weaverville. The downtown buildings remind me of the Mars Hill downtown buildings.
I thought I had heard about the smell. Thanks for confirming.
When I went into Sylva the area had a slight unusual smell as well and there was some type of smoke stack nearby. I wonder if that is something they have to deal with as well.
Thanks for what you do Timothy.
Great thumbnail. Love that building.
Thank you. It was nice. 👍
