Tourists Want To Fly
Ground crews are doing their best to handle the traffic in this summer heat which includes the arrival of 2 new charter airlines at Cardiff, while the construction of the new terminal extension is progressing nicely. By now all jet bridges have been installed and also the work on the interior is progressing nicely which means that the airport is starting to test some of the new areas using volunteers. With only one month left until the scheduled opening the tension on the building sight is definitely raising.
Each season of the series will play out 1 year with season 3 portraying the year 2005 at the airport.
Cardiff is a fictional series that will feature made up but also inspired by real life events from the respective time period. The air traffic displayed is picked to fit the time period but for entertainment purposes there are some historical inaccuracies throughout the series.
