Historically when they were talking about Ethiopia in history. They were talking about Sudan/Cush. Which does include modern day Ethiopia. But they were more or less talking about Modern Day Sudan. Just so you know.

I'm Bengali and I've recently been watching a lot of videos on Sudan because Im not gonna lie I've never really heard much about Sudan. The culture seems quite similar to the Bengali culture so I can really relate.

And contrary to popular believe they had nothing to do with the old pyramids in Egypt such as those in Giza. The Nubian style of two building was focused more around small private chapels with the burial chamber be underneath the pyramid instead of inside of it. In short the pharaohs of Egypt were buried inside pyramids while the kings of Kush were buried underneath them. This is a good resource for information. The website was created by a Sudanese story.
