    Agree with Bru and Wildes about Jimmy. Because Nick and others were quick to say Giannis was terrible in game 5 where he had 36/20 and was injured but had the free throw issues but Jimmy has a bad game and we start asking is he tired, what’s happening and try find excuses. • @Udanoob
      @Udanoob ปีที่แล้ว +7

      It's not that complicated it's just figuring out when to reserve energy when you are undermanned. Lebron had to figure out how to reserve energy because he is older now. When you turn it on and off randomly you have the ability to surprise the opponent. I think that's part of Jimmy's strategy is you never know when you're going to get Playoff Jimmy. Well he better figure it out soon otherwise he's gonna get swept.

    I was om Wildes side (in regards to Jamal Murray) until he said "because hes in the finals".... Replace Jokic with Julius Randall and this team is not in the finals.... Jamal Murray is definetly underrated but being underrated doesnt just sky rocket you to being one of the best players in the league. Having a guy like Jokic opens up so much for everyone else. Replace Murray with Brunson and i think you get the same result. Look at the Mavs... WCF to out of the playoffs... I dont think he is better than Brunson but he is DEFINETLY knocking on the door. Great post season

      Well, they just had the 3rd best record in the league with him fulfilling his role as a second star and are 3 wins away from being NBA champs. The only reason why Jamal isn't a 25 point scorer in the regular season is shot volume.
      Those 3 guys I mentioned average 20 shot attempts per game, Jamal this season had 16. In the postseason, with superior competition, Murray goes up to 21 FGA... et voila, 28 points per game scorer.
      Broussard is right, next season, even if he is back to his 20ppg normal self he is going to be an All-Star just on the back of the respect he has garnered this postseason, and it will be deserved

    • @blackmamba3060
      @blackmamba3060 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ХорхеГарсия-э5е You can't just magically increase volume, volume is tough to increase even marginally. There is a reason high volume guys who maintain an edge of efficiency are so much more valuable than low volume guys who are ultra efficient. That's just the nature of the sport, the looks you get as a first option, etc. That's why we need to see Jamal be in that role at least a bit more for a consistent stretch. I will say, his playoff performances definitely suggest he is capable of it.

    • @ХорхеГарсия-э5е

      Dude, volume is though to increase for guys taking 20+ shots a night or for players in an offense with a super dominant balk handler. The Nuggets will never do it because that Denver offense works perfectly in the regular season as currently constructed so there is no reason for forcing Jamal to increase volume. But again, at 16 shots a game, which by the way was the most in the team, he could do it. Heck, a lot of 3rd options in the league like Tyrese Maxey and RJ Barret are basically taking that same amount of shot, Murray as number 2 in a team with a non ball dominant star like Jokic can easily get to 20 shots IF the team wanted to, as shown during this postseason.

    Jimmy Butler is like Embiid, 90% of his game is built on shot fakes and because his shot fakes are so effective, the defenders were so afraid to be called foul, he could take nearly uncontested mid range shots, but now teams have see enough of that, defenders don’t bite on those shot fakes anymore, and without those help from the refs, he’s basically a mediocre mid range scorer in a 33yo body.
