This is giving me so many ideas! I tried this a while ago without the pool-- I wanted a series of floating rooms on 1x1 pillars all connected by balcony walkways (like an ewok treehouse without the tree), but couldn't get it to work without the roofs blowing off. I will try this way, and maybe I can finally have my treehouse!

But it looked cool anyways as a little bali hotel. But this is super interesting. Because of the second floor. Now question, can I build one more floor or is 2 floors the absolute max?

So go crazy and do it before they fix it. Duh. The builds don’t disappear even though they fix the glitches. You just have to get it up before the next update. I already made mine. I’m going to try the second house now. I’m hoping to have a whole town of floating houses.

Thanks for commenting. Floating rooms have been in the game since the mezzanine update more than a year ago, it left and came back and is still is the game, why do you think it has not been fixed? I personally asked EA if they patch glitches and they explained everything to me here... th-cam.com/video/9WPyw2J0l6Q/w-d-xo.html They focus on creating new updates Victoria, and sometimes new updates crash the bugs. They only fix bugs that destroy the game or cheats EA out of pocket. I now understand that any glitch that cause a player to save money or make money, will not be ignored as that will put EA - Sims FreePlay out of business and we will have no game to play. Building beautiful houses does not hurt EA. 1x1 pillars and floating rooms does not hurt EA. It’s a reality of building that’s why The Sims Mobile & Sims 4 have floating rooms. The 1x1 room is not official neither is the floating room, There is no “security” for these features and one day a new update will crash it and that has nothing to do with this video. One day we might get these features in the game and we hope for that. The developers of these games are smarter than we think, if they wanted to patch the floating rooms intentionally, they would have done that since 2 years ago. If they wanted to fix the 1x1 rooms then it would have been fixed in this update. You do realise that the Developers GC game I used to present GC early access content allowed for me to build 1x1 rooms...? And floating rooms..? Still that was not patched. I upload a video last year detailing my conversation with an EA guru regarding this. I will always build creatively and share with players who are interested.
