I just purchased the 2023 G70 2.0 Prestige Package. The technology included is just amazing. Genesis gives you tons of options for the vehicle. Multiple ride options is just the beginning. I can only hope to move up to the G90. They are unique, comfortable, eye catching, with coverages beyond anything on the market included. If I need an oil change, they come to my home with a loaner, free, take my car away and bring it back the same day. And, these vehicles have normal transmissions! No CVT!!!!!!! The features of the Genesis product are never ending. I'm still going back to the handbook to learn more.
I’m back again, they nailed it. Best warranty in the business. If I had the money, all day…. I’m not loyal to any brand, I’m loyal to my money and the worth of it.
Until you make a warranty claim😂 dude sees two sets of numbers and thinks there aint fine print ”If I had the money, all day” Translation: I have no basis to formulate what would be available for the money as I dont make it”
It's nice to see a car with a true color interior whereby pretty much everything is dark red including the carpet. Most automakers cut corners and only offer black interiors then reupholster the seats and door panels in a different color.
Refreshen review! You are like the only person to use the adaptive cruise control! That showed up very well! Thatnks for the review if it was in the budget i would be very happy with this!
It is taking me a while to get used to the Gatsby like front grille. Car has 1920s like show off feel to the front fascia. A used one that is a year or two old with low mileage might be a good way to approach this model. They are going for a few thousand over list with soft markups, like nitrogen in the tires and the like in my area for new ones. I am not willing to go over list MSRP for this model, even by 1 or 2 percent. There are enough other cars out there to buy.
Questions: (1) Can the car be programmed to close all four doors by pressing on the brakes? (2) Does Genesis plan to have Genesis service stations soon?
Used with a lower price point it's deal for the luxury & tech. Also love the brown interior, outside not so much but it a nice " Hyundai " as you said 😆
Mate white paint looks good but a pain to clean and not damage.... unless its like a rhino lining for trucks type of pain... which means you can pressure wash the Hades out of it... LOL
eddie i believe you are recording on a iphone? when you record at night it glitches the video because of the night mode option on Iphones i suggest you turn off the option if you no longer want the video to be slowed in FPS.
Yes, this has happened a couple of times within the first few weeks, but like everything else in life, one gets used to it and then your brain puts it into the"auto-drive" mode. The thing that's going to get you in the end is the unlimited number of "gizmos" that will break down and cost an arm and a leg to repair. That's one of the main reasons that these luxury cars lose so much value and are so cheap to buy used -- cost of maintenance in those 'golden' years.
Direct injection always sound like trash... wonder if it was also port injection would it still make that sound or is it the timing chain or belt but if it was a belt it would be quieter than that also though be it more maintenance needed on belt drive or more monitoring of it to make sure it doesn't snap...LOL
I encourage you to listen to some of the newer Mercedes models, unfortunately some new cars have louder injection systems that make a lot of noise on the outside of the car. Had an E class next to me and that thing sounded like it was ready to self-combust it sounded so clacky!
@@nickpearce2968 no. We sold it 2 years ago and bought a new 2022 Lexus RX350. The RX beats it for everything other than performance, tech and aesthetics. We wanted a quiet, comfortable ride with good reliability. The RX delivers all of that and the mileage is a lot better too. The GV80 was a shop queen and the final straw was going without heat from December to February.... in Alberta Canada, those are the coldest months (-20 to -40 celsius temps). The service was atrocious and the auto still wasn't fixed when we sold it back to them.
In a heartbeat and save $30K in the process? .. Abso-fucking-lutely .. P.S., recently took delivery of a E-450 wagon that was ordered over a year ago. .. Nice car the E-klass wagon.
Great car but I think for that price point people are still gonna go for Lexus, BMW, Mercedes because they were luxury brands from the get go. Don't get me wrong, the Genesis is a beautiful car but it was previously associated with Hyundai. Kia and Hyundai are making good cars now like the Telluride for example, but since Kia started out making entry level cars with entry level prices, it's kind of hard to not have prejudice and pay top dollar for their vehicles that they are commanding.
Well considering all those brand are more expensive. And I don't consider Lexus as luxury . There built extremely cheap , and quality isn't Toyota / Lexus thing. They have the worst infotainment and the worst leather , also cheap dash materials. Just to name a few. Bmw ok I agree with how ever genesis has proved to be more reliable in all charts

This car is amazing in almost every aspect! It's just missing the 8 cylinder. I recently surprised my wife with this 2024 E Supercharged in Makalu Gray with the all white interior. This is our 5th Genesis vehicle and her 2nd G90, which is a 2021 5.0. In silver with the taupe interior and the crazy Maybach looking wheels. Although my wife says the 2024 is quick enough for her but not like our 5.0 8 cylinder. If she wants more acceleration, she just jumps in her 2022 C8 Corvette LT2 with the Z51 package. 0-60 2.9 seconds. I am an exotic guy myself, but I must admit Chevrolet took the Corvette from an American Sports car into an exotic class for a lot less money. Wait until I take delivery on the 2024 C8 Z06 I ordered. She does have access to my car collection! Remember, a happy wife makes for a happy life!😊 I must admit that the 2024 G90 ride, comfort, and tech is amazing!!! I told my wife is I am buying her a black limo drivers cap to wear while driving me around in the back seat! She also has a 2020 G80, which is now our family loaner as we have seven adult children. We also put one of our sons in a G70 (he's my employee, and it's a perk). I have become a big Genesis fan since 2017. I am no longer drinking the S Class and 7 Series koolaid. The two knobs for infotainment and transmission shifting next to each other is beyond silly. One can be mistaken for the other and dangerous.
