This is not Russian Voice, the is a singing show for orphaned children. Dee Ah Na (Diana) had been in one. Her early childhood was an extremely hard one. This is an excerpt from the Russian show "You are Super", where only orphans left without a father and mother participate. Only a live voice is used there. The principle is simple, you need to dial at least 3 green buttons to go to the next round. When Diana sang this song, she was 15 years old. Diana was found in the entrance of the house, with a broken collarbone and a damaged chest. She was only 3 years old, the police took Diana to a shelter, where she was adopted by a physiotherapist - masseur. Diana stuttered very much, here foster mother, on the advice of doctors, to Dana to singing classes to develop her speech. That's how little Diana began to sing. On the show, Diana performed the Russian folk song "Rechenka" (river) amazingly. Where it is sung about an orphan girl who came to a small river and prays to the thoughts of water and forest.

Diana is unique. She is a dramatic contralto, the rarest and lowest female voice type. The rare tone she produces is called polyphonic undertone = first subharmonic. Pocket folds, aryepiglottic folds vibrate in addition to the vocal cords. Means: You hear the normal sington and a tone an octave lower. Not everyone can hear that clearly but it makes her sound so special. Diana has a perfect pitch too and her sense of rhythm were extraordinary even as a little girl. She has mastered many singing techniques and mostly uses them instinctively to express the desired emotions. She also sings in many different music styles and languages. Diana was 15 here, she is 18 now. Next should be Rechenka (Little River) which is a Russian folk song. It is sung in Russian but it doesn't matter that you won't understand the words. Diana is incredible. Rechenka is my personal favorite from her. If you really want your mind blown, watch her sing It"s a Man's World. Yes, the same one from James Brown. She nails it.

You have just been introduced to the most amazing female vocalist on the planet! Nobody else on earth can do what Diana does. Nobody. Diana is impossibly talented and she's only 15 in this video! I'm an old man and I haven't been this amazed by a musical artist since I first listened to Jimi Hendrix back in 1967. Diana is 18 now and is even stronger today. I don't think anybody knows her limits.

The bald judge is Igor Krutoy, Russia's greatest pianist and composer. He isn't slow to hit the buzzer, he was being polite as to not interrupt the song. This is not Russian Voice, the is a singing show for orphaned children. Dee Ah Na (Diana) had been in one. Her early childhood was an extremely hard one. Her adopted mother is off to the side clutching her hands.. Igor now composes and plays the piano for Diana. This is an excerpt from the Russian show "You are Super", where only orphans left without a father and mother participate. Only a live voice is used there. The principle is simple, you need to dial at least 3 green buttons to go to the next round. When Diana sang this song, she was 15 years old.
Diana was found in the entrance of the house, with a broken collarbone and a damaged chest. She was only 3 years old, the police took Diana to a shelter, where she was adopted by a physiotherapist - masseur.
Diana stuttered very much, here foster mother, on the advice of doctors, to Dana to singing classes to develop her speech. That's how little Diana began to sing.
On the show, Diana performed the Russian folk song "Rechenka" (river) amazingly. Where it is sung about an orphan girl who came to a small river and prays to the thoughts of water and forest.

There is a "Voice Russia", however, this show is called "You Are Super" and is designed to highlight the talents of disadvantaged children and also provide them with education from a charitable foundation. Diana had been placed in an orphanage aged 3, due to parental abuse, before being adopted - see her Wiki page for more background.
Diana (Dee-ah-nah) was 15 in this performance (in 2019) with a cover of "Wicked Game" - a big hit in the early '90s by the US artist Chris Isaac. This was Diana's second year on the show - the previous year (2018) she won the normal season and in 2019 was invited back, with other winners & finalists for a Grand Prix "Super Season" - which she won again.
This was actually her second performance in 2019, so obviously, the judges were well aware of her talent - the last judge to press the green button is Igor Krutoy, a big cheese in Russian music - he was waiting for a break in the song, so not to disturb her, although, as Diana tends to disappear into the performance, she wouldn't notice anyway.
