You could stay paint the other knobs gold. Baseboards do them one room at a time. When money allows. I love the counter tops gorgeous

Looks nice! Keep the gold and you could always spray your other hardware gold. Be sure to poly those too. I would either paint or get a different electric plate cover on your island.
