The tan color of the modern decor in the family room (and elsewhere) complements the dated kitchen countertops. The neutral paint and updated light fixtures made enough of a difference that things like the countertops (not to obsess) seemed acceptable. Very nice job in making an older home look move in ready for a new buyer.

Thanks Susan for your kind words! That was the goal to create upgrades we could do on the seller's budget and create distractions at the same time to make buyers feel the home was more updated and therefore "forget" or "forgive" the things we couldn't change :)
