I too, loved the black door and wreath with the lime green garden boots!!!! And any arched door always speaks to me. It has such a cottage, fairy tale feel to me.

Ugh! Having such trouble decorating my living room and finding the right layout. My door opens into my living room, however the stairs are directly to the left! And there’s a good sized piece of squared tile at the entire top separate the door, and then onto wood. Help!

I live in a condo at the front door entry has the kitchen on one side and the open area into the dining/living space on the other. There really is no way to create an entry per se. Even a 12 inch shoe rack, impedes the opening of the front door.

Same issue. You are 4 ft from the stairs or already walking into the living room. Im looking at adding a large gamble into the house that will be near the height of the dormers on the 2nd floor.

I’m about to
Move into an apt with the entry door smack in the middle of a LR with a catty-corner faux fireplace opposite. Lordy! I have to embrace “Welcome to the living room!” Also, I’m going to use the trick of covering the entry door wall, which also has windows, with drapes that will cover the door when I’m at home, do it’ll look like there’s no door there once you’re inside. I’ll let ya know if it works.
