    Location, location, location plus security. Same facilities can be found in a different vicinity far less the price tag in this video. It's always upto the individual to avoid the big boys neighborhood if you want something cheap. "Accra live by plan".

    • @VanessaKanbi
      @VanessaKanbi  2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Yep! The price is because of the location. If you don’t want to live in a prime area rent isn’t anywhere near this expensive.

Expensive initially but worth it in the long run. Let us know how you find monthly electricity payments... Wish you all the best in your new house.

    Lovely house, thanks for sharing. Truth be told, that price is a total rip off 😬 unless you are already proper rich. Most ppl paying that much in Accra get their accommodation paid by employers e.g. diplomatic staff/expats. In fact paying that much for rent from one's own pocket will stop most people from becoming financially independent.

    Loving the house Vanessa, and also loving the way you describe things. Although 2 to 3000 a month for rent is extortionate, no matter how lovely the house is. And the bats no no no. I can see why you are moving on it doesn’t matter if the landlord takes responsibility for the maintenance that is a very high rent. I’m guessing these luxury houses are not marketed to the ordinary Gana a.m. but to expats. Anyway good luck in your new home.

      Someone asked her that question in another video and she said the houses she wants to buy, the people want all the money in 18 months and that is ridiculous. Not everyone can pay all of the money within such a short period of time. She wants to build but the area that she likes is East Legon hills and the price of land isn’t cheap either so she is taking her time. I guess when she first came just as the Acheampongs she made a mistake by renting something expensive and now she is learning to live in places that are less expensive so kudos to Vanessa for realizing that it wasn’t worth giving all her money to that landlord.
