My mates Torana has been there for over 2 years and has hardly been touched, he made the mistake of paying up front and gets all the excuses under the sun, most of the cars shown have been there since at least march 24, when I was there, seems a nice guy but doubt his ability to get the work done
Understood but cars take up to two years to restore which is still quick compared to other places, I am aware that these cars are built to a budget and quality - any issues I’ll stay out of.
rough place to be restoring old GM iron with all that humidity. i assume you have strict protocols for immediately painting any bare metal and treating/phosphating everything???
Best to start with 2 door 4 pot ,cut the floor pan out and graft in 6 pot floor and rails fire wall its alot of work ,my mate has a collection of lc lj Torana's a lone ranger gtr and super charged 2 door 4 doors ,in bush in a old barn up a dirt road miles from anywhere ,i spotted some recks in the bush just up the road from his farm ,one was a old ford xp i was very surprised to find inside the boot a genuine lc xu1 GTR chrome wheel dress rim in very good nick ,
This guy is a crook bought a 74 torana so much rust and bog in it unable to get on road in New Zealand a write off doesn't want to know his comment were I'm in bali you can't touch me think again price see you in court
Ufortunately there was a lot of noise as the panel beaters were working so this made it hard to edit he talks a lot more but you can’t hear it because of background noise,
I wouldn’t buy a matchbox car off this prick. Bought a “fully restored VW” off him and it cost me another 10k to fix there dodgy work once I got it here ..lots of Aussies have had similar experiences ..buyer beware

absolutely awesome. I'll definitely pay a visit in the future.
Great video which could have been so much better to hear what Cam does, not what you do with your cars.
i am soo glad i am not the only one who picked that up! And cutting Cam off when he's talking , explaining about the car etc.
