Are people dumb? Before they say “bRiNg bAcK hEy gUyS tHiS iS aUsTiN” they should actually look into why he stopped saying it.
That magic-NS adapter is actually really good. You would have had to enable switch pro controller wired communication for it to work. As well as making sure the dongle was flashing either red or purple.
12:00 It didn’t work because you need te have kabel controller connection on. (In the nintendo switch settings)
They also recommend you update the adapter

The Mayflash adapter works perfectly fine. You have to enable wired pro controllers in the settings and make sure the adapter is on the proper mode for switch. on mine the color is purple.
Hey Austin, you really need to bring back the *"Hey guys, this is Austin"* intro. I know you stopped it because it wasn't inclusive and only welcomed "the guys" but c'mon let's be real here. People often use the term "guys" to refer to a group of people, regardless of their sex/gender. Please bring back the iconic intro, it'd be great.

The switch dongle works great, i actually use it for my PS3 so I can use a PS4 controller since good condition PS3 controllers are rare.
Yeah, I use one for my switch and it's rad. I have a feeling Austin didn't read the instructions and had it on the wrong mode. Bummer!

Dongle works great, Austin does not :-D
You can connect it with the cable to the ps3 and it will work. Only thing won't work is the playstation button so if that dongle makes that button work continue using it .
@@Andre217 yeah you can connect it without the adapter, but that's why I got the adapter listed.
It was kind of fiddly to setup as per Brennan, but once it was done it was paired with the dongle it can be unplugged and plugged back in when needed.
I think for the nintendo switch one you didn't turn on:

The Magic NS works perfectly, I suspect they didn’t have it in PlayStation mode as it comes in Xbox mode by default.
Yeah I have one too and it works really well with the PS4 controller.

For the Magic NS you have to go into settings and turn on "Wired Pro Controller Input" from the controller settings
I’ve been using a MayFlash Adapter for sometime and I’ve never had any issues with it. I’ve been using it exclusively with a corded Xbox One Controller though, so maybe Bluetooth to PS4 Controller is different. Either way I’d recommend you guys do additional testing before throwing something away lol.

If Austin can listen to me. You have to turn on wired controller support for the switch. To make the ps4 controller to connect. The reason being is that the adapter tricks the switch into thinking its a wired controller

Magic-NS works there are a couple of steps. 1, You have to put it in pro mode (when the light is blue). 2, In the switch settings activate pro controller connectivity via cable. 3, put ps4 controller in paring mode. 4, connect the ps4 controller via usb to the Magic-NS's usb port. Now the ps4 controller would get recognized as a pro controller with working motion control and rumble. You can even disconnect the cable. But the cable and the steps are necessary for true paring. Great video 😊...

Austin the adapter for the switch did not work cuz you did not turn on a setting on the switch which allows it it to work. Go to controller settings and turn on wired controller communication something to work
