Nice video. I love the copper pads in the bottom. It's big for a single unit but that improves the thermals. Some suggestions: There are some key questions like drive compatibility: does it support double or single-side drives? does it have any other limitation. Since you are getting it from the manufacturer I suggest you create a standard questionary you send to them.
Thanks for the review. I think you are bottlenecked by the ssd itself or computer , you should be getting 3800MB/s. Which chip it is using? Also dont say "it is very fast" after transfering bunch if files. It is is very subjective what is fast or not. I would say it is slow.
Like the enclosure. And the speed rating. Just not understanding why gen 3 speeds are coming off of it. Gen 3x4 tops out 3500ish mbs and gen 4 about 7000 mbs. Speeds posted confused me is all
because you ALWAYS get slower speeds over USB. Speed Rating is 40Gbps, so ~4GB/s is theoretical maximum for this kind of enclosure. You can expect ~2,5-3GB/s (and even lower speeds) with Gen3-SSD and 3,5-4 GB/s with good Gen4-SSD inside. With proper USB4 host (not Thunderbolt!) and this enclosure i've already seen 3,9/3,8 GB/s reads/writes (with Lexar NM790 4TB inside).

Fine video. +++
Just a rip-off of Hagibis MC40, i have the original - my cable has an LED display for power though. Excellent enclosure!
all manufacturers use same chip and PCB.
This isn’t a ripoff, these are basically all rebadged versions of the same thing. Colorii and other companies have the same product.

Those are weak gen 3 speeds. Why did you even bother
What setup do you recommend for faster speeds?
