dutch kinda sounds like swiss-german. lots of throat „KKKKK“ and rolled „R“, yet my relatives in Vietnam tell me swiss-german sounds russian to them lol

My relatives from Vietnam, who have no exposure to Swiss-German and no exposure to Russian, say that Swiss-German sounds like Russian to them, just like Vietnamese would sound Chinese to you. I have never said thst my relatives associate the harsh „K“ sound with the Russian language.
