Indeed, Kaiju seems amazing for cockpit. High burst damage, effective at any range, and leaves just enough energy for 4 Hermes (or 3 + 1 hardware)
Only downside is that you lose speed while charging Kaiju, but the boosters take care of that

the best thing about this to me is that it's the first time i've seen Kaiju effective as a short-range weapon :-D but to be fair, a few good shotguns would fit better with this playstyle.. this is probably weak on the hilly maps

As someone who started only in autumn 2020 it is really hard to get basic parts like 4x Hermes besides all the battlepass madness and fusion events... But I can't wait for them, your playstyle is highly inspiring and pretty much what I'd like to do!

you dont have to make high ps buiild with it, few blue booster or just 2 purple ones on a light low ps build also works well

Question about the cockpit. Do you have to boost throughout the whole shot or just the beginning to get the full damage boost?

troughout, in general you have to boost until each individual projectile leave the barrel, applys like this to all weapons
