I honestly think this is one of Chons best songs. I’m a huge fan of this band and bands alike but honestly this is like the perfect pop type song. Chon does pop better than pop does pop. This song is so god damn compelling. Amazing melodies and musicianship. Chon pulled this dub for sure
I wouldn't say this is one of Chon's best songs (my fave is splash), but also, I definitely like this song. It's one of my guilty pleasures; as a prog and death metal fan, it's tough to admit that. Sometimes it's nice to slow it down with something more pop-y, it doesn't have to be speed and technicality all the time. I also can't help but sing along whenever Chon plays "can't wait"

"Can't wait" just hit different as a CHON song with vocal. Also, no vocal? I personally think "Temporarily Destabilized" is nearly the best of all.

What I love most about this song is that Chon doesn't pay attention to the hate and negativity they're receiving from their "fans". They're musicians and they understand and appreciate all kinds of music, and they're allowed to express that however they see fit. If you don't like this, don't listen to it. Plain and simple.

I for one think Masego, a heavily jazz inspired artist, fits so well with Chon who use a lot of jazzy chords and rhythm. I love the diversity brought along this album from both this track and Glitch.

Their sound might change, but the dignity in their musical identity remains so intact- they're not afraid to experiment with something that might obscure their signature sound, and at the same time, the way these guys are going about their experimentation of it all is remarkable. Honestly, if you don't dig this, there's gonna be 8 other new CHON songs on the album in their usual style. That's plenty to be hyped about. Personally this is far from my favorite CHON song but I'm glad they're exploring their creativity further because it's going to keep them fresh for the long haul.

I feel like Misha Mansoor put it best when he said writing music isn't all centered around making it original, its about making something you really like. If you focus too much on making something original or make the same sound over and over again instead of writing something you think sounds good, there's really no fun in it. I dig it though. This is truly good. They're experimenting new genres and I think they are doing it well. I love this because it's CHON, they're musical geniuses and I'm not afraid of their musical path.

Actually, this is a CHON song, and this band has really really great music in their repertory. However, they are more prog/math/fusion rock than anything. Personally I recommend you this band a 200% If you are looking for neo R&B or Afrobeat, I suggest you Childish Gambino, Tom Misch, Daniel Ceasar and KOKOROKO. ;)

It seems a lot of people are completely unaware that the Chon homies are huge fans of chill electronic stuff. It makes perfect sense that they'd collaborate with some of their favorite artists to add that to their album. Also, this is one out of ten or so songs. Newborn Sun, WooHoo, Grow, and the rest of this album still exist. I repeat: you will still be able to press play and hear every other Chon song lol. This is chill AF, which is essentially what Chon means to me.
For some reason I listen to this song at least once a month, especially in the summer!! Chillin!!

This track plays with our expectations of what a CHON song should be, sure. That doesn't make this a bad song in the least because it's a damn catchy song and it fits in to the hip-hop jazz vibe of the album; so I personally think this song will grow on some if not most of the people throwing hate at the moment.
Am I the only one that hears the super tasteful underlying riffs in this song? The instruments may not be center stage on this track but they're definitely still there. If the entire album was like this I'd still love every track and even support this, everything about this song has the chon vibe, maybe not as technical as some of their other stuff but excellent none the less.

Be honest though, you can't really hate on this. I think a part of their direction with this album was to explore while retaining their signature sound, also while creating new sounds with other artists, AND get that chill vibe in there.This is the epitome of that, at least imo
