Ugh, I love this so much. I’m a doula and birth photographer and often times find myself having to fight the narrative that labor and birth are what’s shown in the movies. This intense “Ahhhh!! My water broke!” scenes followed by people running to the hospital. Birth typically doesn’t look like that. It’s slow, intuitive, and progressive. It looks like taking time to do your hair in the midst of contractions, singing the abc’s with your firstborn while your second gets ready to make their grand entry. So thankful you decided to showcase a different side of labor. You did great and absolutely birthed that baby girl out like a champ! 💪🏼 Many blessings to you and your family.
This! Or your water can break and it still takes hours and hours for you to dilate. When I had my first son my water broke and I wasn't even dilated. So we raised to the hospital and I was on pitocin for 8 hours before I finally had my son.

Every hospital gives you different things so the best thing to do would be to call your labor and delivery and see what they give you. Honestly lm packing superrr light this time around. A change of clothes, a portable charger, your bathroom stuff like toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and deodorant if you need it, shower shoes and clothes for baby. Hospital gave me everything else, diapers, a swaddle and postpartum stuff for down there. Good luck!
Awe Eran was really just the best so sweet and encouraging, Haley you did amazing love the name too I picked Naomi has a middle name for my future daughter if I’m ever blessed with one. So happy your family was there for you too congratulations on your little bundle of joy. 👶🏻🤍

This feeling when u are 10cm like u dont know wht to do so helpless, because of tiredness, pain and pressure from the people around to push since you are so really weak tht time.....me tht moment i dont even know how to push...38weeks on my 4th child..im so scared but i can do it with God's help..probably my last pregnancy and hope it will be natural delivery.
