1 month on these Waves so let me share my opinion. Thank you for your reviews Paul ! Built quality and overall feel is great both for plugs and the case. Matt finish is very pleasant. They do not feel like a cheap headphones at all more like a solid, pleasant to hold and touch product. Straight of the box I was a little disappointed with the sound quality at first because they have very neutral setup with a lot of Mids and Highs. I would even say PIERCING Mids at some point. And that doesn't feel pleasant in some music genres. I even wanted to return them to the shop. But after I first checked TH-cam reviews I found out that there's an App where you can costomize the EQ to your liking. And THAT is the most important thing. It changed the impression about this model completely after I made my EQ setup in the App. Night and day. Note: All of my tuning and final setup of JBL Wave Beams were based on comparing the sound to Bayerdynamic DT 990pro which I own and enjoy. Those are 2 different headphone types, yes, but you can use the overal sound quality of BD or any other expensive gear to feel the difference immediately and use as a "blueprint" for your desirable setup. So The EQ is precise and what is most important the DRIVERS are able to give you a lot of room for improvement of the sound. There's a lot of headphones which have good factory setup, just plug and go. For most users it's easier and better option. But not every headphones have good enough drivers that are capable to hold serious EQ changes without sound deterioration to give you what you want to hear. And surprisingly to me - these JBL Wave Beams can. As Paul said they ARE NOT very loud and NOT heavy on Bass. And I like that. They are more about details in Mids and Highs. Though the Lows are still perfectly good and you can always add more. Also. Your device matters, people. To be precise, the BT version inside of your devices. I can hear a difference in a sound quality between 4.2 in my iPhone 7 and and 5.0 in Samsung A12. It's not huuuuge but I feel it. So if Waves have BT 5.2 you will get even more on the newest devices. That also takes place. It's not a groundbraking difference like EQ setup but it's like another refinement of sound after setting up the EQ. Again, as Paul said the codecs on these plugs are really good. The huge drawback comparing to listening capabilities is - the Mic quality. It's not that it's terrible. No. It's normal but nothing more. And of course there will be a lot of noise on the other side of the call if you're in a noisy envronment. But wait, do you remember that it's an entry JBL model without ANC ? So if you need music first with the ability to make calls - they're perfectly fine. But don't expect much. Just ok. So my conclusion is - they are really good entry model. But the cherry on top is: For how much you are/were able to get those ? I've accidentally bumped on my pair in ALDI grocery store in Germany. It was the only-lonely pair and they put a discount on it. 32 euro instead of 40. And I didn't think to long to give those a try. For $35-40 they are amazing value for money IMO! If you can get those for such a price don't even think twice. This will be more than enough starting point for you to get a quality sound and enjoy any music you listen to. And after that you can carefully look for something more expensive which can give you even more refined and detailed sound. Sorry for a very long review :)
Hi don't know if you already bought earbuds. But I've had an issue with the Sony wf-c500 where one earbud just stops working it just stutters while restarting on its own. I used the warranty to get a new pair but the same issue happened again so it's clearly just a quality issue so I wouldn't recommend them
As much as I like how the JBL is tuned, the realme is the better all-rounder. Slightly more aggressive ANC and the sound quality isn't bad at all. They've upped their game with this set.
Hi, I just wanted to know about the sound quality of JBL 235 NC when compared to wave …. I know 235 is also bass heavy but I was wondering what about mids ? Are they at par? I am not a bass head though… but Getting ANC for some extra bucks will be better. Please suggest
I haven't tested the 235 just yet, so I wouldn't want to give you any wrong information. ANC does help, especially if you're in noisy spaces with loud droning sounds. ANC on most earphones and headphones does tend to also boost the bass in sound. Somif you're a purist and don't like heavy bass, you might prefer having ANC off.
I prefer the Tune Beam over all. It's truer in general. Volume wise, it's softer than the OP for sure. The OPs focus is on loudness and heavy bass. Clarity isn't a thing with the OP. Bigger bloated bass is the game for the OP.
I have used neckbands so far. Now what should i buy Iem with dac Or Good Tws My preference is sound quality and also calling. If answer is iem than which one would u recommend for first time buyer (i like all details with balanced bass)
If you want better details in your music with tighter bass response, IEMs are the way to go. Have a look at my reviews on the KZ ZSN Pro X, Salnotes Zero and Blon BL03. DAC wise, have a look at my comparison between the iFi Go Link and ddHiFi Hi-Res DAC.

@@PaulsPOV i mean which one do u think when comparing is better pick , i am looking for good jbl tws under 3k for gift
The 245 sounds fuller than the wave beam for sure. I think it's going for sub 3k right now too. Plus it's got ANC.

Feel free to give my review of it. This is a comparison between the 230NC & Tune Beam-> th-cam.com/video/b2TkRI0xkho/w-d-xo.html

Iem with dac
Or
Good Tws

Best under 3k Sound or Premium quality chahiye
Jbl Low Bass uqulty boat a200 plus best
Latency
Jbl wave beam sounds so trashy. Doesnt have any base. When you play songa, it sounds like the vocals are comming out of a tin can
i hate jbl have so low bass in earphones
Is these exact ones?
You have to change the eq in the app
if you want bass go for third class brands like boat
Worst no base full of treble sound only
Hai, i want to ask, which one better Jbl Wave Beam or Jabra Elite 4?
