I think that Synthwave is the perfect genre to remix this song. It’s a genre of the past (80’s and such), while being born with the idea of the future in mind, therefore perfectly linking both Scarlet and Violet core concepts.
Yes, it even fits as a counterpart to the original, as to me, it has that air of potentially being from a genre of the future with the idea of the ancient past in mind
AlmightyArceus, this sounds fantastic! Although I haven't heard the theme yet, in game, listening to your remix of it really gives me a sense of what kind of area it is. It feels powerful, foreboding, and a bit otherworldly! The instrumentation here is stellar, and I really like these dense and vibrant synths you're using here. There are some milder, more haunting ones, too, like in that ending segment, and they all have this cool portamento effect, as well as some tricky note bends and strong vibrato - all things I really enjoy! That bass is deep and warm, as well, and it has great motion in terms of rhythm and drive. The video presentation here looks great, as well! I never tire of seeing these synthwave-styled backgrounds and animations, and Koraidon fits the theme perfectly! Also, a huge congratulations on releasing your 100th remix! damn shoutouts to my youtube recommends this is probably one of the best covers/remixes i've heard of this song, it's really unique but also really close to the original vibes somehow, probably because the genre represents the core concepts of the two games' area zeroes so well? most others i've seen just try to replicate the original and fail to capture the intended vibes in the process imo

hey AlmightyArceus, if it isnt too much to ask, can you upload a faster version of this exact theme? it sounds like a battle theme version. sound surprisingly good at 1.5x speed.
My fav part is from 0:35 - 0:45, I don't think the chip tune synth fits as a good lead tbh, if you decide to make another version maybe you could experiment with a different synth for the lead melody and "solo" but still good job on this.
