I am an interior designer as well and I’m always one to notice great interior design. I’ve been a fan of Bunny Williams for years and I think this house of hers is my favorite. I’m very traditional myself and I can really say that we share the same love for dinnerware. I’ve been collecting for years and I’m glad to see that I’m not koo-koo! Lol 😆 There are others who have not gone the way of grey and greyg! Definitely not mme. I love mixing it up with old and new stuff and keeping it wonderfully fresh but accessible for how people live.
Thank you for your lovely comment! Bunny is a design icon and I relate to your dinnerware collecting! Tabletop is a passion for me too! In fact, if interested, do stop by the Quintessence shop, Q Worthy - lots of exclusive tableware!
Bunny is so practical too. Love the raised pots for cuttings and the idea of foraging into the garden and woods for clippings to add to florist arrangements. Brilliant!
This was two years ago and I do not know Bunny but I feel so welcome to visit . And I do like this lady and thanks for helping reveal her, dear interviewer.
Thank you again for a marvellous video. Bunny Williams is an amazing artist, I could listen to her all day long. How lucky you were to spend time with her. Please post more videos like this one, it is important to share the creative process and the two of you do a wonderful service to all of us in doing so. Thank you!
Oh thank you SO much for the idea of the floral stand. I'm going to have one made up for myself. I'm a retired floral designer. Who still love to make floral arrangements for the house, friends and family.
I cry with love for this house i. Want to live in it when ever i feel a bit sad i think about this house and I am good again bless you for letting me share your home
It's all gorgeous but this retired floral designer wonders if a table decorated so creative and ornate doesn't distract from the food on the plates? Studied interior design at the New York School of Interior Design and the first lesson in interior design is restraint, less is more. This room reminds me of where my friends and I have gone for tea where I live in New England, very similar look, but the table is decorated more simply. Thanks for sharing, Quintessence.
I certainly don't think the table would distract from the food - and I don't think Bunny's table is actually all that ornate. Restraint can be an admirable quality in design - as well as in life. But I think Bunny has it just right! And by the way, as you may know, Bunny's husband John is a fabulous cook!
Where I live it's not that common to really decorate your table, or even be very creative with your food and how you serve it, you know...beautiful canapés..salomon-cucumber-herd creme cheese-dash of dill...with nice bamboo skewer instead of a sausage with a tooth pick sort of thing, its almost a little 'tabu', like you 'try' too hard. But being a foreigner in a foreign country I do have a tradition of really going all out for my guests, its fun, common, when will we otherwise be able to put a spark on everyday life if not the few times we have a party. So this time round for a 40th birthday party I went all out, and made a magical stylish Christmas wonderland for entertaining, and you know what, it made the whole night magical, everyone couldn't stop commenting of how beautiful both decoration and food was. Thank you for these videos, it is so much inspiration, loved the same topic videos earlier this year too
Setting the table is all about creating a special ambiance for you and your guests - happy to hear they enjoyed your efforts! And thank you for watching - we're always thrilled to hear viewers find our channel inspiring! Happy holidays, Stacey
Dearest Bunny, since discovering your channel You have inspired me to renew , repaint, redo!!!! doors, living room, n next porch!!!! Love your ideas n guidance thank you!!!!
I loved Bunny's bunnies that were sort of posed to hop into the air, defying gravity on her table. And - gasp - the woman named Bunny had frogs & spiders on her table! She's an equal opportunity critter lover. Fun!!
thank you so much for posting this video. One thing that I LOVE in life is setting the table, no matter what day or circumstances it is ; it gives me pleasure. Therefore, this vid. is wonderful, it gives nice ideas to me : recycling the outside branches with florist flowers is such a wonderful idea. Again, Suzanne, thank you for this great video. Wishing you and all the Quintessence team a wonderful Christmas. Much love and appreciation to you all. (( hugs ))
Toally agree - setting the table is a creative outlet no matter the occasion! So glad it gave you some new ideas and thank you - wishing you a very merry Christmas as well!! Best, Stacey (behind the camera)
OH!!!! I CAN'T EVEN!....such an inspiration ..... and I do have those Hagen Das holders ....they are so impressive and everyone wants them! Thank you lovely ladies for all your hard work ! xo
She lives a beautiful life her table settings are more relaxed than ours across the pond..more formal of course but I have a few pieces from the culinary concepts range the octopus champagne cooler is a fun item and a great talking point
Our videos are like friends chatting, and just like in friendly conversation, there is bound to be overlap. It is not interrupting, it is banter and enthusiasm!
I think she has a point. Several times i feel like she cuts off the person being interviewed too often. If the concept is friendly banter, there must be other ways to make it so without seemingly interrupting too much. The people being interviewed might enjoy it but from viewers' pov, sometimes it's tiring to watch. I really love the houses and the people being interviewed and i can see that the interviewer is very knowledgeable. Alas, this is my feedback.

I'm a table setter myself. It's the easiest thing to change up and always something to admire. Right on, Bunny!

No she does not, she is interviewing her. Susanna has impeccable manners, and knows Bunny well already.
Thank you. I try my very best.

What a stunning collection of creative art! However, porcelain frogs and insects on a dining table??? ..... creative or creepy?
Definitely creative - echoing nature!
Definitely creative! Its really daring to say the least. lol
Who wants to dry-clean a tablecloth..?
she's innerrestin
Fica muito tempo falando num.so lugar.mostra pouco
Это какие же бабки надо зароботать, чтобы так жить. Вот кому страшна смерть, никакой рай не заменит такую жизнь
Let your guest talk. You interrupted Bunny the entire video
Stop. Talking. Over. Bunny. Williams! Very, very rude.
Less is more, too much clutter, museum house not a home.
I am not into table settings that is just way too much on that table.
If you're not into table settings, why did you feel the need to (unjustifiably) criticize this one!
@@quintessenceblg It's just overdone.
Did Bunny Williams say "Don't touch that!" to her guest?
