They did such a great job on this song tonight, along with two Neil Young covers AND the encore finale', "Nazareth". AND Dave didn't kick Gillian's ass, they sounded as ONE voice on this tune tonight at the Orange Peel in Asheville (11/29/2009)...The crowd of nearly 1000 were singing and stomping and crying and mostly, just SMILING so glad they came out and witnessed it. I met people who drove 250 miles one way from Charleston, SC to see the show!. IT was soooo f'n GREAT!
'Bout 800 miles round trip...visited the Maker's Mark Bourbon House and a brewery or two in Louisville, it was a blast. I'm a huge Old Crow fan and I also love Gillian Welch and the other bands with them on that tour, so I just had to go.
I'm a little concerned, since I saw the DRM last night, and both were wearing the exact same clothes! Seriously, it was an awesome show in Carrboro, NC -- I could watch these joyful, talented guys forever.
If you don't want Bob Dylan over there because you think he cannot sing in tune, you can export him over here in Old England - very welcome. These two are someone else - just found them. Peter Turner, UK.
