I've heard Tractive works really well, question though...How long does the charge last? My two concerns for tractive was the $10 monthly fee and the battery life. It would be really nice to know exactly where they are though.
Hope alls well. When you put a video link in the videos, I can’t see them. Is it possible to add their link to the description box? I’d love to watch the garden video you were talking about
Aww thanks. So far in 3 years our geese have not successfully hatched their own. What I do is leave some for them to try and take some for the incubator. I’ve hatched a bunch but the geese not so much, they can never seem to keep the eggs warm enough. Plus their nesting season starts when it’s still so cold out, may be easier for them in a warmer climate.
Been watching your videos since I found your Khaki Campbell video last week. After listening to your enthusiastic videos while working nightshift, I went and picked up 5 khakis for our lil homestead. Currently 11 days old wow they grow! Keep up the great content! One question: Do you grow anything specifically for your ducks and geese? I'm growing 100s of thing, just want to make sure my ducks are in a row... 😉
Aww that’s great, best of luck. When it’s not winter we free range the ducks & geese in the orchard where they have unlimited grass and bugs. They’ll also eat some fruits and veggies too. We usually grow some peas as they love peas.
My goose I got at 4 weeks old I spent tons of time with her. She is now almost a year and still my big suck ( in her time and terns though ) She isn’t aggressive at all but if I try to pet her when she doesn’t want it she just runs If she wants attention from me she will stand beside me talking If I’m sitting on the ground and ignore her she will start pulling things out of my pocket 😅 She is laying eggs and I can go in and pet her while she lays her egg Her gender I got at. They spent tons of time with them But breeding season happened now and again these guys are very aggressive Biting while they try to feed and chasing them out of the area They are thinking of switching to my breed of geese
Yes that's so true. The original 4 geese in the caboose I hatched them and bonded with them and all was fine until that first breeding season and it's like they forgot I was the Daddy. They're not too bad though but this one single gander was the worst and that's why he got "removed"
Chad, don't you and your wife eat duck meat? I think it's pretty expensive to buy, but then some people don't like duck. I've only had it once and I can't remember what it tastes like, it was too long ago. Such a nice Spring we're having, aren't we? It's the same here, in Rouyn-Noranda, Qc
We eat duck, but like chicken much better. My Darlin makes duck adobo which is a Filipino dish. Duck is the kind of meat I’d eat every 3 months whereas chicken I eat a few times a week. Dogs love the duck though and it’s super healthy for them. Interestingly enough though the cats like chicken but they won’t eat duck.
I didn’t even realize I could do that. I have ads out right now for free piglets, 4 duck drakes and a barred rock rooster. I’ll try next time if I can add a link in the description or maybe I can pin a comment with a link. Good suggestion though cheers.

Really eh I didn’t know that 😁
Duck meat is healthy actually better than beef and pork
We eat duck, but like chicken much better. My Darlin makes duck adobo which is a Filipino dish. Duck is the kind of meat I’d eat every 3 months whereas chicken I eat a few times a week. Dogs love the duck though and it’s super healthy for them. Interestingly enough though the cats like chicken but they won’t eat duck.
@@emilieseitl9662 yes it’s a very healthy meat
Hey Chad. There is no direction connection to the kijiji ad?
I didn’t even realize I could do that. I have ads out right now for free piglets, 4 duck drakes and a barred rock rooster. I’ll try next time if I can add a link in the description or maybe I can pin a comment with a link. Good suggestion though cheers.
Where is kittens
Didn’t you watch the video? The cats are towards the end of the episode.
