How do you coat your clay peices in resin? I'm trying to make a peice for halloween, and there are no videos and/or tutorials... should I use a paintbrush and "paint" it on? Or do I dip the entire piece in the resin? I'm confused as to what I should do. :/
I might be able to help you. Now, I've never covered a surface as large as Bubbly's pieces, but when I'm coating my Sculpey charms I just take an old paintbrush, dip it in some resin and start painting it on. Just be sure it's an even coat with no gloppy spots, keep an eye out for bubbles and you should be fine. If you want to reuse the brush don't use water to clean it! Wipe the brush first with a baby wipe and then a short rinse with rubbing alcohol. Use a baby wipe again to get off the rubbing alcohol. Hope that helps!
ADORABLE! IDK I just find the faces on spiders so freakin adorable! most people think it's creepy but I love all the eyes and the big fangs! they can startle me but I love them anyways! Am I just weird? I mean I AM crazy for ALL animals so I never think any animal is UGLY... They are all beautiful, just in their own unique ways! you're great BubblyLeaf! BTW I'm currently working on 3 baby bunyips, I call them babeyips XD they are so cute! you have inspired me so much! I think you should make a bunyip!

correction, their fangs are so small that not enough venom can get through them to cause any harm. and I'm aware that they are really deadly, but only to things small enough.
As long as I let the glue gun heat up all the way, I've never had any problem, but I have been slowly change the glue I use, just cause stuff like e6000 glue ( a kind of super glue) works better in the long run. It is a little harder to use though.
I like them! They're pretty cool. Looks like so much fun every time I watch you make these wonderful creatures.

They are as big as some living spiders. Very cool design. Maybe you could make some more of them. Since Halloween is coming up next month.

Do any of your creations ever come apart where they have been hot glued together? I've never had good luck with hot glue holding very well.
