Hey Guys, my samurai (injected) has an idle issue. when i cold start it it revs to like 3.5k and when it gets a bit warmer the idle drops, the engine almost dies and than the idle goes back up to like 1.5k. any idea what that could be ?
Excellent video ! If you have sidekick with seized/stripped 5MM allen key bolts on the hub cover, what's the best way to remove them? Can you replace them with the 10MM bolts used in your hubs?

I've got a 97 Tracker LSI, and it has the automatically locking hub, but my 4 wheel drive doesn't engage..I'm thinking it's a hub issue, but trying to do research before I start tearing into it..any insight on common issues with the automatic hubs? I bought it with 55k miles, an old lady owned it and idk if the 4 wheel drive was ever even used! 😂
Unless there's catastrophic failure in the differential which would be loud and highly unlikely, There has to be an issue with the hubs. Check them over again.
I used this video to fix my locking hubs. Those now work but 4wd still won’t engage. I installed a new passenger side aftermarket front cv axle. Anything I should check for?
So dumb question. My geo has American racing wheels with hub covers. Is it ok to leave them in the locked position all the time and just have the transfer case in 2 high? ( I also don’t know if they are in the locked position, I haven’t taken the hub covers off yet. I just assumed that’s what they did)
Yes you can leave them in lock position but It will reduce your gas mileage. If you spend most of the time on the road them I would recommend unlocking them but if it's on and off road you can leave them locked
I just bought an 86 samarai. The turn switch is frozen so I'm gonna get new hubs. What hubs do you guys like? I e got mile marker on my F250 they work fine. But what would you guys recommend for the Samarai.
I just installed my aisin hubs but I do t know why but the aisin hub didn't allow me to reinstall that C-clip. It covered the slot it needed to sit in. Is that normal? I took it for a spin and it did fine.

Sorry we do not have any Jimny's in our area so can not help with the brackets or why they may be different. Sounds like you will have to weld new motor mounts onto the frame to make it fit correctly

Is the exhaust clear? Have you checked all the vacuum hoses? Have you used a scan tool to see if anything is out of the ordinary?

My 87 samurai's 4x4 light stays on when not in 4x4. Why?
Hey! I didn’t know that a 1993 Suzuki samurai ja model is not a 4x4 but a rear wheel drive

My hubs are fine , and front driveshaft is turning , but the front axles are not . Ideas ?

When I unlock the hubs the wheel spins but the axles do not.
