I like this scent, I've been through a few samples. It bothers me that I can only buy 100ml or 10ml. The 100ml is priced at €160 and then 10ml at €42!!! It annoys me when brands really hike up the price per ml for smaller sizes and that there is no in between like a 30ml
It does seem that they try to push people to larger sizes by making them cheaper per ml. There may be some costs differences in the bottle and packaging that might make a smaller bottle more expensive relative to the larger though. I don’t know I’m just guessing. I have to fight the urge to get the larger size that’s better deal because I’ve realized that for many perfumes a travel size is all I need. I can’t stand it when the perfumes only come in 100ml and don’t have readily available samples. I’ve blind bought in the past which is never a good idea Fortunately for BDK it’s easy to get samples. But yes I would have prefered 30 or 50ml
This scent is gorgeous and addictive. It really does grow on you and it's so comforting. The longevity is amazing too. You can get a travel size for if you don't want to invest in a full bottle.
I thought it would smell better on a man. Not my cup of tea, but there are so many other great fragrances from BDK to choose from. I really enjoy the brand.
"Wood in the blender and then throw some spices in." YUP. I can see that handsome man in the grey suit. I bought this one because I loved the sample, and now I rarely reach for it. I think I enjoy sweeter fragrances. You're BANG ON with the notes! (The performance on this one is not as great as I would love, either.)
I love it but im not drawn to it every day. And for me it really needs to be tested on skin. It just envelops you in a lovely bubble. The extrait version leans a little too masculine for me, but the edp is right down the middle. Im glad to hear your thoughts.
There is a fig and warm spiced scent to me. My husband loves it on me but I don’t enjoy it, unfortunately because it does smell too fig leafy and masculine to my nose but definitely a unisex smell.
Yeah when I first got this my first impression was that it was really nice, like high quality and well blended. But for some reason I either go nose blind to it quickly or it fades fast. I'm not really sure. Also I do see this as being slightly more masculine leaning. So all in all really nice, but a pass for me. 😊

Have you had a chance to try BDK's Creme de Cuir? It's a beautiful, fresh soft suede/leather scent that is absolutely unisex. It's warm and slightly creamy. Just wish I had better places to wear these kinds of fragrances.
This was a pass for me. It smells similar to Bottega Venetta imo and I don't love either one. I am happy I did not blind buy the bottle. It's pleasant yet just not my style.
I haven’t tried this one, but everything I’ve tried from the house is seriously overrated. Definitely not full bottle worthy, especially if you are judging by anything other than the opening.

I love feminine fragrances, but I really loved this one. It’s so comforting and not too strong for something I’m reading is more masculine-leaning.

Hey Arlene. I prefer the extrait personally. The original isn’t bad. It is nice for fall and winter in my opinion.

Yes thought it was only me smells good but masculine I might give it to my hubby or combine it with a vanilla fragrance
