The new kit has two red o-rings in it... You put the factory black one back in the engine with the new filter. Its probably just fine, but I just figured I'd let you know.

1. You get more oil when you hold the throttle and crank the engine. They call it "drawn mode". Do it 2-3 times. The engine won't start. 2. There are 3 gaskets. 1 more under the long bolt. Those SEA-DOOs that I saw came with a red Loctite thread lock on them.
Decent vid. You reused the old gasket lol. Also good practice to start and run the ski for a few seconds until oil pressure rises then stop it, let it sit and re check oil level. Oil filter will tend to hold a bit of oil in it.
Mario Cuadra, you should make a video on why you switch from Yamaha to Sea Doo. Comparing your likes and dislikes from both and are you happy with Sea Doo or you wish you had a Yamaha again... by the way GREAT VIDEO!!
Use throttle to empty oil better. And I do not know if you understood that you used the same o-ring at the first change (You should use the new red one instead of reusing black). Keep filming!!! And I would like to mention that oil seemed to be good and almost new...could not see the filter!!! Perfect machine!
Sea-Doo recommends the first oil change at 50 hours. Spark plugs should only be looked at and cleaned if needed. But they are to be changed at 100 hours. You dont need to waste ur money like this. Let's go riding bro. First weekend of August let's meet up.

Added to both dealer installed rear boarding ladder, sump pump, depth gauge, removable fenders ( with any chop they come off if tied up while moving rig from boat launch) cell phone charger for music system and Sea Doo covers. With trade in of 11,000 for 2009 & 2010 I paid 25,000 for new ones with accesories.

I found one still in the create no miles for 12,100. Aluminum is going up 300 bucks so your trailer would be more, but all you have to do is shop around, talk to sales people. That's how I found that one in a create. I will drive where ever I have to for the better price. Don't limit your self to one state.
Make sure you check level on these before each ride. DO NOT OVERFILL! It'll blow it all back into your intake and coat your intercooler. It's better to have the oil level toward the bottom of the range.
If you want to get most of the oil out of the engine, press the throttle all the way in and crank the engine few times, (it won't start) it will pull most of the oil out of oil pump and oil filter, repeat process 2 or 3 times that's how I do it on my Yamaha
I have heard a lot of conflict on this but in reality a good thought is to change every season before you store it. Keep and dirty oil from sitting for too long. I cant see any issue in that method unless you are running the machine like 500-700 ours a summer. which I doubt.
Mario. How much hours in did you make your first oil change? I am at 15 hours and wondering if I should get it done. Even though I purchased the 3 year maintenance package and the manufacturer recommends 50 hours.
Dread Knot I did mine at 12 hours, I don't recommend buying the manufacturer maintenance. It's really cheap to do it yourself and don't have to wait 2 weeks sometimes because their full.
Another good video bro. I called the dealer and they told me I didn't need to do a 10 hour service, that it was only on yamaha's, but I called a different one and they told me I did and it was 300. They also said the spark plugs were good for 100 hours. What's your take? I'm definitely doing the 10 hour service thru the dealer to make sure my warranty is in check. So after the 10 hour its 25 hours or a year for service. I think I'll feel better doing my spark plugs too.
Trdproski Videos I just feel more comfortable with the 10 hours on the first service, it won't hurt it. I don't remember what plugs size was mine, I know their NGK tho.

Don’t pressure wash your sea doo due to forcing salt water into the cracks. I did this and after a winter season come spring the salt water did tons of damage inside the motor bay. Runs like a bat out of hell but very disappointed this happened to my new sea doo RXT 300.

Skipping the 10 hour service will NOT void your warranty. It's a money grab by the dealer. Check your owners manual - no mention of a 10 hour service.
