@DavidHuletlevensgoesting bless ya, I do remember them, but didn't know they'd covered Can't Help Falling In Love though. UB40 did a pretty terrible cover. There's a hairdressers round the corner from us called Stylistics, don't know if they sing falsetto to their customers though 🤣
Oh dear....you aren't the only fan running out of space for your Elvis stash. The haul I just bought will take up a lot of space in my house that isn't available at the moment! Love seeing what you do with your memorabilia, not surprised you have had to build more shelves for records! @@DavidHuletlevensgoesting My haul isn't much to be envied when compared with what some fans have! I get excited when I find something like this, but as much as I'd like to buy everything that comes to my attention, I have to think seriously, do I really want this or that? Hence my not buying FTDs and all the big beautiful books. Storage space . I now have a lot of little memorabilia pieces which are currently on a bookshelf but there is no more room on that, and this new lot has a lot of small things that I'd like to keep. Have to think 'out of the box' and am wondering if I should get rid of all the old china and porcelain ornaments that I've inherited or collected in years gone by. They are in a lovely glass fronted display cabinet, and I can just see my Elvis goodies in there. People do change over the years and something that was once important, such as my family ornaments, don't have the same interest to me now. I have no family to pass them on to (nieces and nephews aren't interested in old stuff), so as they are just gathering dust, I may as well take them to an antique market and flog them.
@Patracat that's a very good point you make , intrests do change ,well exept Elvis 😉 it seems the older I get the more I love Elvis ,if that's possible. I can't buy everything I want either , there's so much stuff being released these days and you'd have to be a millionaire to get them all not to mention having the space for them . I have to clear out another room next to the hallway and build a wall in there (there's a toilet in there) than I 'll have yet another small room for more Elvis stuff , that is if I can convince my wife😃 Enjoy your summer🌞🌞 its snowing here❄️❄️☃️☃️
