You're such a great driver, very attentive and I really like how you double check for people at the bus stops, even when it looks like there's no one there. Norway is such a beautiful country, thanks for sharing your drive!
Thanks for letting me ride along with you for this morning's run, even though I am not a morning person and especially not in this kinds of weather. 😀 Edit: Is the bus ride free for everyone?
Appreciate the comment! Answering the question: No, it's not! There is one exception: up to 4 children can ride for free when they are together with an adult.
Yes, that's right! Ours MAN buses are made in 2020, and I have to say that they are not so bad. Engine power is terrible, especially on our 12-meter buses.
Hi, I recently found your videos. Thanks for making them, as playing them in the background helps me focus on my work! I was just wondering why the lights of the bus are switched off when the doors open to let passengers in. This happens for example at 24:10 and 25:40. Is there any particular reason for it? Thanks a lot!
First of all, thank you very much for your kind comment! 😊 The lights in the roof are coming on when I open the door, so the passengers can see me (the driver) better, the floor (when they enter the bus), and so they can feel more welcomed! When I close the door, the lights switch's off, so I don't have too much light above me, and I can focus on the road! Visibility through the window is better as well! 😊
@@BergenBusDriver Thanks! I think he referred to the actual Headlights of the bus switching off when opening a Door. I´m curious to know too. Maybe you can explain that too?
@@BergenBusDriver Thank you for your answer! As @vinznii9156 already commented, I was actually reffering to the headlights of the bus. It might be my eyesight letting me down, but I tought i saw the headlights switch off when opening the door.
@@BergenBusDriver Thank you for your response! As @vinznii9156 already commented, I was actually referring to the headlights on the front of the bus. It might be my eyesight letting me down 🫣, but I'm pretty sure I saw the headlights switch off at 24:10 and 25:40. Apparently it only happens when opening the front doors. Thanks for explaining! 😄
@@larsmyny3496 I assume this is when the bus is in / out of gear. Put the transmission in neutral and the low beams are being switched off, only the parking lights or day time running lights remain on. A bus in neutral won't go, so the auto headlight system turns the off. Once the transmission is being put into drive the low beams are being turned on. Makes it easier for other drivers to determine whether the bus is about to drive or whether it'll remain still where it is. A similar courtesy is common and encouraged in aviation. If you get a hold short instruction by ATC while taxing once you come to a stop you switch off the taxi-lights to signify you will remain stationary. Once ATC clears you to continue taxi you switch the taxi-lights back on, signifying you are going to start moving again.
What a super fun video!! Greetings from a colleague from the Netherlands. Question, why do they almost all enter through the back door and not through the front door and are you driving here with snow chains on your tires?
Is it normal for people to board/exit the bus through any door in Norway? In Spain you must board through the first and hop off through the second or third (if there is one). Loved the video, so peaceful
No gritters no cars stuck, had that been the UK it would have been cars and trucks stuck, new reporters reporting national emergency country at a standstill, its just a normal day for you guys

It is weird how having this in the background is so relaxing, but it is.
More important moments:
7:52 Plow truck surprises on the main road
36:02 Blocked road
I wish all my drivers where as punctual as you, arrive early and depart right on 06:12:00 👍

With that much snow, all the busses would be cancelled in France where I live..

Question, why do they almost all enter through the back door and not through the front door and are you driving here with snow chains on your tires?
Thank you very much!
Questions:
1. In Bergen, you are not obliged to board at the front.
2. No, I didn't had chains then.

Can you make a Video of the line 460 if you Drive there
Thank you, very nice route again. In which area or town district is the last part (from the snowy hill to the end)?
Appreciate it! It starts at the Laksevåg, goes through Melkeplassen right to Løvstakkskiftet at the end.
How long you queued in the tunnel?
Something about 6 minutes!
Have you driven Yutong bus?
No, I haven't 😊
What country is it?
It's Norway
Do you know Volvo buses in Shanghai
I've just looked at them now on Google. They look pretty nice, not gonna lie 😁
Kan mann velge buss når vi skal kjøre??
Du får et buss av trafikkontoret når skiftet starter 😊
