I am jealous, must be a treat to be bus driver in such a beautiful region. But one remark: the bus lines must have enormous distances because the bus has two time-zones :-).
Really enjoying these videos from Bergen. I noticed on this video a young lady got on the bus with an electric scooter - a lot of train/bus operators in the UK ban them due to the risk of fire from the batteries. Thanks for all your hardwork in producing your content. The views around Bergen are wonderful.
Exceptionally, if someone comes with a private electric scooter, they can bring it on board, but rental scooters are banned. Thank you very much, I appreciate it very much!
32:11 Who are those two guys? Ticket control? Also, I noticed that some roads are very cracked and uneven which surprised me since I thought that Norway and other Scandinavian countries have almost perfect roads. But it also seems that majority of roads seen in this video are back roads (secondary roads) in rural areas, so they might not get much attention from the officials in terms of maintenance comparing to the main roads.
Min gamle buss på Sælemyr og Ortustranden i Fyllingsdalen der eg bor. Eg husker da den gikk ut i 2022 under åpningen av 2-Bybanen da også 25-Bussen ble nedlagt.
Most people have travel cards or apps they sign on to the trips etc.. Where I work, I have maybe 1 in 1000 passengers wanting to pay with coins or bills to get a ticket, the other 999 either has a travel card or a phone app they swipe to sign in to travel, I guess it's the same thing 'ish in Bergen.
In Bergen you use an app for single or periodic tickets. If you don't have the app you can buy the tickets online or via SMS. You can also buy from the driver, but most people don't. Single app and SMS tickets are valid for 90 minutes from when you purchase them. Online tickets are valid 90 minutes from a date and time you choose. Also, there are ticket checks onboard as you can see at 32:26
Good thing I don't have a license... they won't take it away from me... 😂 But seriously, our buses have bus stop brakes that turn off the front lights when the doors are opened and hold the bus in place! Pozdrawiam! 😊

Do you switch buses every few days or are you assigned to one bus?.

How/where do people pay for the ride? I don''t see anyone tapping, inserting, etc when they board

Very narrow roads
Why don't you use the parking brake at bus stops? Very unprofessional behavior, you should lose your bus driving license😏
