I have 1, had for almost 10 years.. got it from the thrift shop and I still love wearing it even when if it’s worn
I checked out a Rothco M65 today at a local army navy store. The quality was fair at best. My 1977 Dutch Field Jacket, which is beginning to show its age, is far superior.
I don't dispute that. I think this is just a mass production (replica) by Rothco. By no means I am suggesting that is is a real military issue.
That’s funny. Most reviews say they’re pretty good for the price.
Of course the originals are better.
Cool jacket thanks for the review. Glad you reviewed the measurements. I had one similar issued in 1990. It had a hood with the worst quality fake fur I've ever seen. Unbuttoned it and wore all the time...I preferred it to the issued gore tex.

Does it run true to size? I'm 5'10, 167lbs w/ a fairly regular build. Usually medium fits me just fine
They run pretty large, so you should go one size down - small should do it. I am 5'9 178lbs and jacket in small is a perfect fit. Thank you for watching.
I see. Does that change if you're planning to use a liner underneath?
Good point. I personally don't use the liner but this is something to consider, meaning you might need extra space. @@lucca.siqueira

You are probably a small, regardless of the liner.

Rathco is not a military clothing contractor and they don't make a good product I have a good collection of the real m65 jackets and they are all the real deal.
Just because you have a bunch of “real” m65s doesn’t mean rothcos are not good.

Chest pockets are too small. Original M65 field jacket got bigger. One of one more Rothco's failures on their products.
