Even malay malaysian dont practice gotong royong for wedding kenduri anymore. Except in kampung2.
Ada juga, kawasan perumahan, rumah flat, kondo pun ada
even ada juga org kaya buat gotong royong heheheh
there is nothing wrong with the term malaysian malays, cuz malay is not only malaysian citizen, here we are in brunai, indonesia, southern thailand, part of filipino
True
@syazh1 ada jugak malay yg bukan Malaysian. Contoh terdekat malay kat Singapore
Modernism devous cultural identity and ethic
For once, TH-cam actually recommends me something good! Nice to know there are people like me (Malay) lives outside Malaysia but still performs the same culture regardless where they are... hence if I had chance visiting Australia I might pay them a visit as a fellow Malay
My one friend is Malay mix Australian and it's just amazing that her village/kampung is there!
Who would have thought about a kampong in Perth! Wow! Kinda reminds me of those days I follow my Malaysian uncles in their cars to visit his malay friends in the kampong! Lovely!
So many Malays there in Perth man😂
It's in Katanning, country town 3 and 1/2 hours drive south of Perth.
Not Perth you idiot. Katanning.
@@goodputin4324 perth has many malays too anyway.
Next please do Christmas Island/ Cocos Island malay or Cape Town malay.
hopefully someday! :)
Yes please
yes please and pls come to eastern Sabah (tawau). the cocos malay migrated here in 1950s and now the population of cocos malay in sabah is more than the cocos/christmas island
@@noname96able org cocos ka?

Wow. Masih ada lagi rewang. Dekat Malaysia sekarang susah nak jumpa, order katering sahaja
Binmohd Yusof Bisnes katering lauk2 Melayu kat sana non existent kut. Tu kena rewang. Kat Msia order je.
Kampung aku banyak je rewang... Kalau nak cakap tgh bandar memang tak laa rewang tapi belah kampung ade je
Ada je gotong royong kat kampung, just because your whole family kt bandar pakai katering terus pikir satu malaysia mcm tu. Jgn jadi bodo pls
Selalunya kat kampung je bandar jangan harap la nak ada hahaha kalau ye pun jarang
Kt kampung aku ade je rewang...kompang silat kugiran semua ada...
As an Indonesian Muslim of Javanese origin, I feel a sort of intimacy, kindness, togetherness and many valuable things in the Cocos community. A distant family...
I love this!! I live in Byron Bay, from NZ and LOVE Malay culture (and cuisine!) Now I've got somewhere new to visit in Au!
i love byron bay. The sunset is amazing breathtaking. I really wish to migrate to aus. I love the culture, work life balance, the farms, the sea, everything. In singapore.... everything is so fast paced and competitive. I used to play a game called harvest moon on playstation... i resonate with that lifestyle; manning your own farm and produce.. i really dislike the city life. It eats up into your soul...
Edit. Choice of words
If you do visit, definitely book into the Premier Mill hotel in Katanning… it’s a gem! 😍
Assalamualaikum to all of my Malays brothers and sister and Katanning, Australia. I'm Malay from Terengganu, Malaysia.

So heartwarming to see! I'm Singaporean-Australian and live in Perth and had no idea the Malay traditions ran so deep, especially in a concentrated community. I love this and definitely would love to visit the cafe :)

Alep is such a kind and sincere man. We had a good time (especially with all that food.....) ;-)
Thank God I lived in East Coast (Pantai Timur) Peninsula of Malaysia. Our Malay culture still strong. From Pahang 👋
OMG really surprised that Australia have this kind of place.... The whole wedding really look like in Malaysia because I'm from kelantan.
Bagus Bersih ja tgk kawasan mereka... org Melayu kalau duduk di Luar Malaysia dorang memang pembersih👍👍
Which is the best rendang?
Malaysian kid: Rendang Ayam
Kataning kid: wrendang Kanggaro
Malay wedding, something I have not, nor probably ever will experience. I'm from New York by the way. Very interesting video.
The weddings are more traditional than the ones in Malay dominant countries like Malaysia. How amazing!
I’m Indonesian and I really want visit that kampong 😁 sometime when I back to Australia
Alhamdulillah...i still remember my first WA trip....from the city of Perth....we explored the whole area...and Katanning.....was one of them.... we stopped by to perform our Asar prayer...surprisingly......in the washroom, i saw malay words..OMG.....i felt like home..i felt like visiting my own brothers and sisters.......if god wills...i'll come back......
MasyaAllah.

The above Greetings and Best Wishes are not meant for you lol !
@Lina Morgana You might as well say sorry to the indigenous people if you are on the way back to your homeland in Indonesia ya....
@Λίνα Μοργκάνα ada bau bakso la syial..
This is so crazy. Well it's not like I didn't expected malays in other country. But this is just WOW. Who wonder there's a malay village in Australia. I mean real village. Not that kind of village with people only. There's still tradition, cloth, the way of talking. Its feel so 'kampung' you know! I won't be surprised if one day i got lost and ended up there, im saying that im still in malaysia! Glad to be malaysian 🇲🇾!
One day, I'll make sure that I'll be there. InshaAllah ❤️✨🇲🇾
@Lina Morgana I'm sorry ma'am but only God can stop me.
@Lina Morgana You're making Aussies shame. Are you exposing to outsiders that Aussies in general are racists?
@Lina Morgana Judging from your comment history, maybe YOU should try assimilate into Australian culture? You're still speaking Malay and your English is beyond terrible. You obviously hate your own race lmao. Even Malays in Malaysia can speak and act properly.
@Lina Morgana you also intruder..
stop intrude on another land
Better stay in yours since malay-sia offered ketuanan malayu
Also Australia is ruled by right wing party which practice contraction policy (no longer welcoming immigrants)
Clearly observe that
Paulin Hanson declared unfriendly policy against
-Asian immigrants
- Muslim immigrants
- Chinese immigrants
Assalamu'alaikum wr.wb.
TH-cam recommended this to me and my little malay heart is happy 😄😄😄😄
Siapa kata Melayu Malaysia tak amalkan lagi amalan gotong royong?
mungkin sudah berkurang disebabkan kemudahan catering, tapi tetap amalan gotong royong ada, lauk habis kena masak sendiri, saudara mara jiran dtng tolong kemas rumah dan kawasan sekitar, jaga lalu lintas
gotong royong penuh pula yg meliputi masak memasak segala juadah lauk pauk pun masih diadakan di kalangan penduduk flat, kawasan perumahan, kampung even org bandar pun ada tau hah!
Apapun, TAKKAN MELAYU HILANG DI DUNIA
Masuk kandang kambing mengembek
masuk kandang kerbau menguak
nih nak bagitau, Melayu dah lama dah, jgn pula dtng komen provokasi klaim utk negara masing2, kita nusantara penuh Melayu, yg taknak mengaku Melayu tuh, lantak pilah, asalkan kita jaga hubungan sesama rumpun kita termasuklah yg bukan Islam!
cuaca nyaman
Bukan habis kerana makan, awal dah bawak plastik bungkus

Melayu tak hilang, yang hilang sekarang adalah identiti melayu di Malaysia tgk ja beza orang melayu Australia dgn orang melayu kita. Tempat kita lebih kepada barat banyak la ni.

Can't believe they're actually in Australia!
for first i thought it was in Malaysia
It’s because they refuse to assimilate to Australian culture.
@@ronaldmcdonald4313 nope
@@ronaldmcdonald4313 they just wanna preserve their original culture for those Malay that living there especially the youth . Like some kind of initiative to make future generation of them still remember .
@@ronaldmcdonald4313 wdym refuse to assimilate? They have been there for generations? They're still interactive with local Australian people. They've assimilated. They're just following their cultural traditions, that's all.

Am quiet surprise to see a Malay Kampung in Australia. Very good for both of them.

I didn't think there was a Malay village there. It's amazing the Malay culture ...
Wow this is my extended family! Nice to see then featured!
I've been to katanning and met the malay society there. They are truly wonderful! Diorang baik, beradab and sgt kukuh in terms of perpaduan. But yg paling best is their masakan la, perghh....rendang masak dgn daging lembu australia fresh from ladang, nothing beats that. Ada satu masakan ni which i cant forget was the daging asin. Its basically daging yg diorang perap dlm garam i guess and jadi masin. Awal2 rase pelik tapi lepas dah byk kali makan tu...pergh sedappp
Sungguh hebat bangsa melayu dikataning, kalau ada peluang saya berhajat utk ziarah orang melayu di sana in Shaa Allah
