But u know what, this game stopped me from doing that, because it is so beautifully made!! Every piece of content has depth to it and many a times the content gets me all sentimental like I'm living it out in the world of Lost Ark. Please gentleman, just let it flow and play the game, you will regret going too fast and not experiencing all the lovely content that Smilegate has made for you all

I don’t think people are understand that Mari Shop isn’t the Currency Exchange shop. Also that it is bound to you, you can even see that in the video and he even mentioned that he bought it too soon and it was bound and he had left over. Also you have a limited supply you can buy
I'm not even 50 yet in this game but have seen some of your videos and i like that you're cutting through the misinformation and BS and giving good info on these issues. This all made perfect sense to me as someone who isn't even 50 yet or fully understands the end-game economy. My plan is taking my time, I'm not in any rush, i likely will work on alts when i run out of daily stuff to do if i even run out (likely only on weekends when i have more time to play). And knowing if i feel the need to rush an upgrade that i can use this method before auction house is really good to know and will keep it in mind. Thank you!
When you're working on alts though do make sure to mail your accessories but dismantle your other gear before sending it over. The normal gear will cost pheons so they'll get stuck in your mailbox for a month if you don't dismantle first. The jewelerry though does not cost pheons and dismantling them on your main gives precious harmony shards which are not shared through your roster so dismantling those on your alt is a waste.
I love that you clarify the progression for "rush" players, Im not even level 50 yet but I enjoy your videos because they show little tips that will likely still be there in 6-12 months
The best is researching + 20% Tier 1 honing chance at the Stronghold. Also -20% harmony shards needed to upgrade. My two alts leveled to 600 with only a handful of fails.

checking past videos to make sure i didnt miss anything. new player here. ive been buying those since day 1, but i brought the crystals and everything too. i fucked up. but what id idnt fuck up on was i just left them in the collection tray after i brought them in marni shop, until i had no other choice but to use them. like when i ran out of the island mats. and also realized u can go back to previous mari shop deals even after timer runs out. the breaths and shards are hella worth it. i still need more even with stocking up on my alt and have the t1 research complete
people don't know about the gold converter, or they rush really fast and miss a lot of the special vendors. or they try to sell gear on the market, when they should be selling chaos mats. also makes sense to have whales in the game, because they pump gold into the player market.
Great stuff and so but that doesnt fix the issue that the shop is 24/7 down in Europe. M8 the servers are burning here. from 11am to 1am the next day the game is nearly unplayable
i had 3 items go to pity and have over sustained materials so people are not doing everything. Never touched mari or auction house, my roster level is 50 from all the islands and msq up to yorn where I am at. I didn't even have tower on my main cause I didn't want to play alts for launch bc I know how much shit there is to do in the game. I also am now 950 but bottlenecked by fragments in t2 content. I have boxes of mats leftover from t1 in storage. Do your field bosses, chaos gates, adventure islands and ghost ships too.

Should I put on any gear that’s an upgrade in the beginning or only the stuff with two specific stats I want? Do I dismantle or do I sell on market? Should I sell green books or keep ‘em all for later? Etc
So the gear from chaos dungeons, make sure u got the best one for your build in terms of stats, the rest just dismantle for additional materials to hone the gear you have on, or sell. But i'd recommend to dismantle them. And the green books are Engravings, use them, the ones u can't use sell, or put them into universal storage for alts. Hope that helped.
Did all the mats islands , all vendors for piratecoins , participation coins etc , wasted every single mat even from the shop , still ivl 566 .... 6x fails on 90% was the start of my upgrading story feels good the rest was even worse

tower should be a huge psa, IK u went over it already but tbh it deserves a vid on its own cuz the amount of mats you can get from tower on your main paired with all the weekly stuff etc almost garuntee you t2, without tower tho its a rly big hit to your available mats

From what I have seen is that spending money does speed things up... but if you have a ton of time to play all day long then you can progress at the same speed. There is so much daily stuff to do that I literally can't get everything done every day.
I almost didnt fail ( 6 fails at +15 wep and t13 all) and i was missing shards, ALOT, before mari's/chaos exchange and only ended up there. (still am btw, thats why +13 armor) Rushing definitely isn't the answer (or even possible honestly) if you dont want to pay money, crystals or gold. I definitively recommend sticking to farming daily/weekly dungeons/raid etc.

People who can't do hardcore content can pay cash or gold to get someone to carry them through it and buy the gear/titles etc. At least in Lost Ark the highest end content is normalized, and in the case of hell raids actually forces all people present to participate to avoid wipes. In something like WoW you can just buy gold with money, pay someone for a carry, and just die and let them win for you.
If the gold is in earned in game it's not. If you pay real money through 3rd party then it's irrelevant. Because it's 3rd party and has nothing to do with the game design.

i saw some the recomend maris shop at all the time ... and well as a f2p some offeirngs make no sense ...like buying 96 crystal for 400 gold to get about 1200 destruc stones , while at the same time , the same stone cost about 240gold in the auction ...since release the price at my server goes from 380 gold -420gold for 96 crystalls....so if i need a freemount or skin , gold to crystals is a nice sort of chance , but using it for material its just worse
dont just go to next storyline do island quest that are for your level if you have problems just continue small quest on the side or some island give you endless shards

Another thing you can do to gain shards is doing the Treasure Maps that you can get from the Rifts. Its most effecitve if you build a grp of 4 and everyone brings a treasure map.

You can’t flip. You can’t sell anything you buy with blue crystals also you can’t sell back blue crystals for gold

Yeah, you can skip harvest for rest to progress your Guardian unlocks. You're good, friend.

Upgrade ur current 302. You can transfer the upgrade from your old armor into new armor at the same place you hone armor

You can get it easily if you enter the tower or boss rush, and it is easy to get if you go to several islands.
