Glad to hear a reasonably extensive discussion on midcentury architecture and cool to know you're both admirers. As a committed 20th-century architecture pervert myself, I know there's still a lot of opposition to modernism in certain quarters, and many beautiful buildings continue to be destroyed or unsympathetically altered. It's heartening to see people coming down firmly on the side of supporting it.
Anyway, my suggestions for that gorgeous house in California on that side of things:
1959: Cadillac Coupe de Ville and/or BMW 507.
2024: Lucid Air and/or Lexus LC500.

Me and Tim used to do a bit on Public Radio on Riviera Radio in Monaco, reaching most of the South of France. Saturday mornings were rather progressive after an all- nighter in the Pub. It was like a Pod-Cast in the 90's but live on air. 300k listeners.
