what i think, rafe and kiara used to date in kie’s kook year, it didn’t work out, which resulted in rafe going full psycho and now he still loves her but he doesn’t know what to do with his love for her because he knows he can never have her… i dunno, just what i think
Everything he did was to gain his dad love and respect. Ward was the one who messed him up so the psycho thing has nothing to do with any break up even though him feeling lonely definitely played some part in his down spiral. I things It’s possible that there was something between him and kiara during the kook year. They definitely spend some time together and he calls her „Kie” non of Rafe’s friends does that. I hope for some kook years flashback to spice up the drama in s3 but I, sure They are not geting together in the future. At least not untill her relationship with jj gets explored or until rafę gets a solid redemption arc

I hope that in season 4, they do like a flashback to her kook year cause I know for a FACT that something happened between them in that 18month jump between s2 and s3
Guys whyyyyy....JJ deserves her and obviously their going to explore Kiara and JJ in season 3 they'll have to .. it's predictable and that right there is why I desperately hope they throw in the major jaw dropping twist of Kiara and rafe as well because people are hoping for it but at the same time totally not believing it will happen I think we need to imagine the most jaw dropping twists and most unexpected ones because that's litters what the directors , producer's and script writers have given us this far OBX is build on extreme unlikely twists so what ever is going down next it's properly something we don't expect
Something I don't really understand about this is that in season one and two, Kiara is 16 while Rafe is 19, leaving a three year age difference, also meaning the only time they could've legally had a relationship was while Kiara: 14 + Rafe 17 (not realistic) Kiara 13 + Rafe 16 (once again, not realistic) and so on..
Something happened during that kook year and jf they dont explore that in the 3rd season im gunna be sad. I love jj and kaira but rafe would be way more interesting tbh
