- TO SUM IT ALL UP: SARAH WAS PUT THROUGH ABSOLUTE HELL THIS SEASON AND SOMEONE NEEDS TO PUT RAFE IN THERPY AND LISTEN TO HIS CRY FOR HELP.
Ok but seriously, these two need to be sat down and actually asked if they are ok. I thought this song was spot on: the first verse is about Rafe and the second is about Sarah.

The difference between Sarah and Rafe is that Sarah has friends and lovers that support her and accept her.. while Rafe literally has no one.. he’s constantly judged and blamed for everything when in reality his dad is the real villain here. If Rafe doesn’t get a happy ending or at least change in the next season I will be so sad

I feel like Rafe does care for both his sisters but they just don't show their love for him and he's always blamed for everything by everyone. He just needs real friends to help and love him. Maybe he'll become a pogue or get his own happy ending with someone but he better not die or the show would become so boring without him.

He asked for help and you could hear he said like he hears thoughts in his head like bad ones and no one asks him how he is . Rose is the only one that realized he was not okay and Ward didn’t acknowledge it either
i know i feel so bad for him, like he obviously was not okay but no one cared, they just told him to man-up, it's really sad
and then ward has the audacity to say “man up” like your son just asked for help

Oh GOD.. the ending to this. Rafe was aware, this ENTIRE time, that he was not okay. He even admitted to it and confessed to his dad. And look at Ward, immediately taking and forcing him to take back what he said..
It’s the fact that Rafe thinks everything he is doing is actually ok. This poor boy has been manipulated by his psychotic father his whole life and doesn’t know any better. He needs love, therapy, rehab and to get away from Ward. There’s still hope for next season. This edit is amazing by the way. 🥺❤️

Wheezie's reaction was so unrealistic in the boat she was happy to be with them in an Island when she knows what ward did...it doesn't sit right to me

i feel so sorry for rafe and sarah. sarah is just being consumed by all the shit her family does and rafe is so broken. They both deserve better.
rafe seriously need help. he even knows something's wrong with himself. but no one is helping and now he thinks nothing is wrong and that he's doing the right things. I really just hope next season he ends up going to therapy or realizes again that he isn't ok. or that someone actually tells him he needs help.
Rafe is suppost to have love interest called Sofia in s3 so I hope she will help him see that he doesnt need Ward’s validation to be happy, that Ward doesn’t realy care about his well being but only manipulates him for his own gain. I hope he will finaly get some real love and support he so desperately needs and it will begin Rafe’s redemption arc
I feel like RAFE was the actual black sheep before any of this nonsense
Rafe is trauma bonded and it was developed years before all this happened. Sarah was cherished by her father until she wasn’t but she wasn’t trauma bonded like Rafe is.
That’s what makes both their struggles so tragic. He is trying to make sense of the world and he doesn’t know what is right or wrong anymore because his compass is his father but he is also conflicted because his inner compass is fighting to right itself. Sarah knows her fathers love and what it means to be cherished and she chose to throw that away for the sake of the truth and that’s so painful and difficult. Both are fighting heavy battles and that’s so admirable

Aww, don't say that. You can get a happy ending if you make up with Sarah and the Pogues and get some therapy. Making up with the Pogues won't be easy since you have done some awful stuff to them. It's what your dad would want. He'd want you to be better and at peace. You can think of it as honoring his memory. Plus, now you've got Sofia to help you through it. 😁
