I have this machine and was super disappointed that it did NOT come with a user manual. So finding your channel has been a life saver. This machine is my second Viking but it works totally different from my 950E and it has been frustrating getting used to it. I have several sewing machines and went back to them because this one is not that intuitive to me. But I'm making a quilt on this Jade 20 now and it is getting easier thanks to your extremely clear instructions. I bought this machine last July 2022 and only used it twice before taking it back for some instructions, then put it away until this week. The bobbin winding was impossible until I found you. Thank you.

I agree with you that this machine is a bit of a mystery to me. I replaced my Viking 1 with this one and I'm having some problems figuring it out. Without these videos, well I would be lost!

I've watched 2 of your Jade 20 videos and they are helpful!! Tell me-- can I use the decorative stitches with a walking foot?? I've tried and they come out sort of wonky....... any help would be appreciated!!

No. Not with decorative stitches that stitch forward and reverse. A walking foot works best with forward stitching patterns.

Hi Geri. That's the plan! Is there something you'd like me to show in an upcoming video?

Hi Diane. I purchased mine from a Viking dealer inside a Joann Fabrics.

Wow. How easy is that to change the stitch! I love the keypad concept instead of scrolling through stitches! So far I really like what I see!!

Hi Chris. That's a really good point. I like that feature as well. Glad it was helpful!

Which button did you use to lengthen or shorten the continuous hearts?

Hi Deb. At the 2:00 min mark in the video, I show how to edit the length and width of the stitch. I used these buttons to edit the heart stitch in the video. HTH
