It's time Chuck gets his flowers, one of the all time greats in the Indies and an absolute workhorse in AEW.
Chuck Taylor was like an alt comic in the sense that he was pushing wrestling into this new, weird and hilarious and fun direction before that was a normal thing or even an accepted thing. He fucking rules, it’s as simple as that.

I think he just needed some time off camera to fully heal from injury so they wrote him off in that match with Trent. I imagine he will be back once he's fully cleared.

This is the happiest I’ve seen him while still being self deprecating as hell.
That match at PWG against ZSJ is the most emotional I have ever been at a wrestling match. He deserves all of his accomplishments. He truly is a lovely and hilarious person and I’m glad the world got to see him.

Chuck's "I have a grenade!" spot is one of those turning point spots for me that wrestling can just be fun. It doesn't hurt the business for silly things to happen. When they are fun and well placed it makes the show more.

Chuck winning the PWG tittle with an instant massive grin on his face after the pin still remains one of my favourite wrestling moments of all time.
When the news first broke that Chuck would most likely never wrestle again, I admit I was beyond devastated. However, I do feel that as long as Dustin is happy being backstage and still able to contribute. Then I am happy. I am 39 and cannot imagine what condition my body would be in if I had wrestled for 23 years. Also, word on the street is that Orange could use a friend if you are looking to be on screen again.

Renee is such a great person for interviews. She seems to always know how to ask questions in a way that doesn't come across as blunt but also not beating around the bush. As for Chuck, AEW was my first experience with him, Trent and Orange. They've all gone through a lot in that time and whether this is the end or the start of his comeback I'm here for it.

Chuck may not be wrestling, but he said he was working as a producer on AEW. So he won't "really" be leaving. And there's a few on-screen roles he could do.
Chuck is such a fucking legend. So happy he's still involved and I hope we do get to see him in front of the camera again, whether wrestling or not.
Chuck is on the verge of tears this entire video. He's visibly uncomfortable through every second. I have so much respect for him for willingly going through this torture to feed the machine. I started crying at the end. I don’t think it was just out of sadness but like out of hope and happiness that even if he doesn’t wish to wrestle anymore, that he is still in the industry that he loves. Hearing him say he’d love to be a manager on screen and stuff makes me so happy. I want to keep seeing him!!!

Chuck and Trent were great as the Best Friends. Even without Orange I loved them. I just love tag teams that the whole gimmick is, they are friends and just kind of nice and cool. I think Best Friends should have been one of the first teams to win the tag titles back in the day.
Best friends were stalwarts you could count on being there since day one.hope this all eventually gets straightened out and everybody gets back together.

Also...this is heartbreaking to watch...seeing the obvious pain and discomfort that Chuck Taylor is experiencing while discussing all of this with Renee and the world 😢💔 Can we just give him his flowers already????
If it's ultimately true that he has to retire, I hope that he receives a massive send-off 🙏 and that it's in front of his hometown with family and friends present. I think that he would be great on color commentary, if not in some important backstage role. He still has a LOT to offer the business, and AEW would absolutely benefit from his experience and wisdom 💯
Man Renee was such a get for this company. Shes so good at what she does and always has been. Glad to see her being able to create stuff she enjoys. Also feel for Chuck here. Im hopeful its not over yet. We've seen so many people come back from things over the past few years. He can too. May be a while. But I bet we see him wrestle again. But until then.. at least he has a job still doing backstage work.

right before aew I got to go to a roh tv taping with kenny and the bucks vs ropongi best friends. It was amazing and im so glad I got to see him. Sure kenny and the bucks were there and that was cool. But I was there for him and trent in all honesty. They didn't do a meet and greet so I settled for the bucks. But I really wanted a pic with chucky.

Easily one of my favorite wrestlers of all time, legit. I remember seeing Chuck for the first time on an IWA Mid-South VHS I ordered from RF Video back in high school. Whatever you end up doing, Chuck, you're amazing.
The best friends is one of the most underrated and under utilized talents in wrestling history, they have the best match on any episode they were on

He's naturally funny, has so much experience in all the aspects of the public facing (for lack of a better term) parts of wrestling that "keeping on the books" would be worth every penny.

Chuck Taylor is literally my favorite wrestler ever. As a character, I find him so relatable; I feel like if I was a pro wrestler I'd probably be Chuck Taylor. I'm wishing him the absolute best and while I am under no impression that he's going to see this comment, nothing would make my mark heart happier than seeing him come back to the ring... Maybe do the Gentleman's Club with OC.

When they were saying his injury was career-ending, I went back and read his Reddit AMA he did for his first retirement seven years ago. You couldn't get a better bonus 7 years than Chuck did.
