  • In honour of VIVO Barefoot shoes we've made a "BAREFOOT" Footlong with Tofu Deli Meat, we used a potato peeler to shave thin strips of tofu and marinated it to create this really nice filling.
We've been wearing Vivo Barefoot Shoes for 9 years now and can fully attest to the physical health benefits of wearing barefoot shoes, your posture starts from the ground up and having strong feet, ankles, knees and hips can help you stay physically active and mobile for your entire life.

The same technique but using balsamic vinegar with some garlic & onion powder & pepper, Just marinated not cooked is really good too. Make a bangin' sub also.

I saw "Getting Healthy with Stasia" do this but she baked it to make it crispy on the edges. I'd bet that you could do th8s and then air fry them for a moment per use for that little extra crisp if you want it. Yum.

Small observation: the quality of the video seemed to drop due to the sponsorship deal.
You guys should have showed the texture of the tofu lunch meat a bit more, because it looks like a standard sub with some boiled tofu strips thrown on top, to quickly promote an expensive shoe.

I usually buy spiced dougan tofu for sandwiches, but I never thought to use the plain extra firm with a peeler and my own broth. I'll definitely try it next time! The "double job it" comment made me LOL.

Loved that - looks delicious! Be more engaging if you didn’t talk over/interrupt each other- can make it a bit difficult to follow. That said, this is still one of the very best and most inspiring plant based/healthy living channels on TH-cam and your work ethic is incredible! Keep up the amazing work boys 🙏🏼💙

It needs an extra big mouth to go with it 🤣BTW I think if one does not need to pretend there's meat in it, slices of fried/ charred aubergine would work great in this.

I'm really sorry to be rude but truthfully gagged when I saw the thumbnail. And I eat tofu more often than meat! Maybe not so close-up?? 🤢
