Just a note to people looking to buy these pens, Ohuhu uses the same weird naming convention as Pigma Micron pens when labelling the thickness of the pens. 0.05 is not 0.05 mm, it's actually 0.20 mm. Then 0.1 = 0.25 mm, 0.2 = 0.30 mm, and so on. The 1.0 is 1.0 mm, though.
Honestly, IF Ohuhu will sell someday markers individually too then they absolutely can be compared with copics. Being cheap, having a brush nib, great colors, and now getting pastel colors?! Like come on Ohuhu, sell them in smaller sets too and I am sure a ton of people will choose Ohuhus for sure. At least I love them. Of course, refills would be nice too, but at least individual markers to buy for the ones that are empty would be super nice
Couldn't agree more although I personally would push for the refillable option and find a way to make the containers recyclable or eco-friendly. If they managed that they would easily catch up to Copic because of the affordability.
as long as i know, they do now after an email, and they plan to sell refills soon, too. I am waiting for a big pack, that i ordered directly at the shop for over a month now, i hope the arrive soon, but that is all that i have to complain about them.
I love this! I think it's really thoughtful that you made both a pen-only illustration and a marker + pen illustration. Really good overall review of these, and your art is really cute!
I’ve broken the tiny micron on the first use before. One of these days maybe I won’t have the equivalent of a lead foot for a hand. I can never get enough of Sally.
I'm actually shocked I haven't broken it tbh, although I think I've only ever used it once to swatch them and I was being suuuuper careful because I know I am a clumsy oaf lol!
I love my Microns - I'm going to blame Kasey Golden because she recommended the micron PN and I'm now addicted to it especially but naturally I had to have a set lol! I'll be honest though I have one Copic Multiliner (from the Drawing Wiff Waffles 50th Scrawlrbox) and it is so smooth to use and feels amazing but as with other Copic products they are pricey.
Ah! You monster, bringing Sallys treats into your marketing! Will definitely have to buy some stuff on redbubble soon... (What’s Sallys favourite treats? My kitties love the salmon dreamies.)
I usually love color drawings and paintings the best, but I love the cat the best. Then again, I suppose if the cat was the colored one and the girl with the plants black and white, I'd prefer the colored one, then. Thank you for showing the Ohuhu Fineliners. I hadn't heard of them. I hadn't thought about finelining digitally, but I haven't had a computer for a long time (long story and, no, I didn't commit a crime, lol!)! I love the cat intermission. It let's me get in art videos with animal videos at the same time! 😻❤️😻❤️😻
I'm somewhat disappointed with the microns. So many all over the internet use them that I always thought they were great - and then when I got my first pack of them, two died on me within lining the first drawing I did with them ^^' I'll definitely gonna stick with my Faber -Castell Pitt Artist ones. Or try these ;) - they definitely seem intriguing :3!
I’ve had my Microns for several years and only the one I use most often has finally run out. Now, I don’t do massive amounts of inking, just a fair amount of sketching with microns for the most part, but in all fairness I haven’t experienced what a lot of people say they have with them. Just offering another perspective on Microns.
I have a set of microns that I bought like 11 years ago. I started using them about 4 years ago and everytime I use them it feels like they're brand new, I've only used up one of the pens, and I'm still using the rest. I sometimes go months without using them and the ink is still great. Unlike a set of fc pitts they dried up within weeks and I only used some for swatches and another for signing.
can someone please tell me if there is a difference regarding the smell between copics and ohuhu? I have ahuge bunch of 100 copics here but I can't use them anymore because I immediately get migraine. After googling a bit I saw someone pointing out all toxic things inside the marker and that it "actually" has to be a warning on (same with eddings) and that many discover headache dizziness and migraine from it. So I wonder, is it the same with ohuhu markers that they have this strong stench?
hi! i just sniffed my markers for you (lol) and unfortunately they smell exactly the same :( the ohuhu smell is a biiit more subtle, but honestly not enough to make a big difference. if the copics give you a migrane, the ohuhus definitley will as well. hope this helps!
I can’t say anything about how strong the smell is, I think I have gotten too used to the marker fumes lol. But I do notice a little difference in the smell, copics has a more sweet scent while ohuhu doesn’t. But they are similar though
I really appreciate your comment, I’ve been thinking about getting alcohol markers but I’m really sensitive to scents giving me migraines. I’ll just have to continue appreciating artists’ marker art and I’m okay with that
I've had really good experiences with my Ohuhu fineliners on ~300gsm cardstock so far, _except_ for the 1mm tip - I don't know what it is, but even with gentle pressure and slow motions, it started shedding and splotching heavily within just a few uses. Was very disappointed with that one, but only that one; the rest are still working great.
I absolutely love watch your videos and the cat intermission is always so cute😻...a few days ago I just added these to my wishlist but don't know if I should try out or not😸....Thank you for helping take a decision 👍☺
**Sally puts a fluffy butt onto the art you're making** "Yep, this is my spot" **You draw a cat cut in half** **Sally runs and hides** "I needs witness Purr-tection!" 😂
What watercolor paint pans do u prefer to use i really wanted to get some for my birthday since my parents and family shop online and I would love to know what u prefer to use since I travel when camping and stuff but such a hard decision since I've never had watercolor paint pans before so I thought it be something to try that's new. I hope u can awser this because really important question since never used watercolor paint pans before
These coloured markers look so vibrant easy to use ❤️Can you please give more info on the Bristol board? Is that it’s full name? What weight is it and where do you get it? I need to add it all to my Christmas wish list ❤️😊🇦🇺
I think I like the cat drawing best. I might have to do my own comparison since I'm a micron lover.... Of these work just as well and are cheaper, then I'm going to switch. Also, these look to be thicker than microns which would help my poor arthritic fingers. All the love and noise boops to Sally!
I love Sally so much but how do you get her not to step in your and or spill your paint water and stuff like that cause I got 2 cats one I feed from week old and they are always doing those things my momcomes over and always laughts about them being on my desk while im trying to work on my art
Hey. Sorry for my English.. I‘m from Germany and I really don‘t know how to put my question properly in words :D You first do your sketches digital? Then how do your sketch actually land on the paper, drawn with pencil? Can you do magic? 😱
@@Kattvalk Ahh I tried this with my phone once but the display reacted to my hand and always moved the screen, if you understand what I mean. But I ordered the iPad Air which must be here until weekend, looks like I can look forward to try it on the iPad with a better result, thanks 😊
Hello. Love your video however I most definitely would not call Ohuhu brush alcohol markers “affordable “ in any way lol. At least not here in the USA!
I'm not trying to be rude but ordering from the ohuhu site makes you pay 8 dollars in shipping when you can get them for 10 with free shipping from Amazon.
I would love to see a collab with you and Drawing with Waffles. You could draw her dog in your style and she could draw Sally in her style. 😁
And when she said Ohuhu is coming out with a pastel set? I immediately thought of how excited Rin is going to be
I love how you always describe art supplies as delicious (that, and the cat intermissions, of course!). 😂
Ohuhu does indeed have tube watercolors, acrylics, and oils. I would love a review of the watercolors! (Also this cat illustration is adorable.)
They have watercolor markers too :3
Just a note to people looking to buy these pens, Ohuhu uses the same weird naming convention as Pigma Micron pens when labelling the thickness of the pens. 0.05 is not 0.05 mm, it's actually 0.20 mm. Then 0.1 = 0.25 mm, 0.2 = 0.30 mm, and so on. The 1.0 is 1.0 mm, though.
The fact that she did all of those straight parallel lines on the cat without a ruler is impressive
Sally said C A T I N T E R M I S S I O N ! ! ! RIGHT!! MEOW!!
Honestly, IF Ohuhu will sell someday markers individually too then they absolutely can be compared with copics.

I love cat intermission. Its a refreshing thing to have in the middle of your video
Aww Sally, the look on your face in the intro...priceless! 😻
I love the fur patterns you drew on the cat, and the black lines on the white paper were super satisfying :))
I love this! I think it's really thoughtful that you made both a pen-only illustration and a marker + pen illustration. Really good overall review of these, and your art is really cute!
the cat drawing is my favorite, of course, but the colors you used on the hair in the girl are gorgeous. such beautiful blues.
I assume that picture of the cat with plants coming out of its' stomach is what my cat imagines will happen when he tries to run outside to eat grass.
I’ve broken the tiny micron on the first use before. One of these days maybe I won’t have the equivalent of a lead foot for a hand. I can never get enough of Sally.

i love the two arts you made for the video!! your style is, dare i say, deliciously purrfect
I'm waiting on my Ohuhu fine liners to be delivered! 👍😁
I forgot to thank you for the 20 percent off! Tyvm 😁
I am so in love with Sally! I love your videos, but she just brings and extra level of joy to them
I love the way you color and shade your pieces.
You're really good at drawing people too! Love it
I love love love that you are one of the TH-camrs, who does the whole swatching onscreen^^ It is oddly satisfying :))
What a great review! And I love both pieces, that happy cat is so cute!
Sally is literally giving us the stink eye in the beginning lol🤣Love watching your vids Kattvalk!

!!! :o
This art pieces are so cute!! I lov the 2nd one the most, the girl was so cute and I lov the concept of the plants!!
The artwork came out SO beautiful!!!
I love you did surreal pieces with these, they turned out so good😍💙
I like Ohuhu their products are amazing for such a great price especially compared to Copics

I love both drawings. And Sally of course. Have a great weekend.
A wonderful review. Has me seriously considering buying these pens and markers
YES!! there is a watercolor set from ohuhu
Beautiful art as always!!! Oh and I also love OHUHU!!
Oh I love that cat picture! I hope you put it in the shop!
Her: Perfect. Or should I say...
Me: Purrfect
Her: Furfect
Me: 👁️👄👁️
These are so cool! I especially love the cat one!
These as prints please!!! The cat one is just 👌
Beautiful video ! I just changed my micron pens into the uni pin fine liners, because of you liking them :)

Quicker strokes with a brush is called dry brushing, it’s supposed to do that.
Ohuhu does indeed make watercolors now.
The cat drawing is my favorite 💕
Great review! I don’t draw, but use fineliners when I write. I’m definitely wanting to try these :? thx you
Wish they were available in the UK. Absolutely adore the drawings
woah that 1.0 is HUGE in comparison to other 1.0 pens

I would love to find these! I think Ohuhu is sold in Canada.
Off topic but I hope everyone has a great thanksgiving with a big turkey and happiness 😁😁😁

Does the brush pen have individual bristles like a regular brush? Or is it like the tip of the alcohol markers?
Hi I'm about to watch this video because it looks cool as all of your videos do!
yess id love more psychedelic art

Thank you 🌸

Love these I did get mine own so cheap and nice 👍
Ohuhu does have watercolors! Check their website:www.ohuhu.com/

I love your cat!
i like the markers but the ends split really easy...the brush ends
Sally! 🥰
thanks for the huge discount, i hope it is an affiliate link; so it gets back to you. :o) looking forward to test them
It’s not an affiliate link unfortunately, but thanks anyway ^^ hope you’ll like them!

Did you use any of the links?
instead of no smears I thought it said no sinners for a sec
They make watercolor markers :3
I loved these pen but they are not available in India. 😭
Amei estás cores,amei muito mesmo.
Clicked on this so fast x3
Hello
me: crying because ohuhu is hard to find in my country, and it's so expensive here hahah :'D
i just got given these pens today :33 not fineliner ohuhu, a different type of ohuhu
Anyone else who would want these drawings to be actual planters to grow stuff in?
Oh that would be nice!
I break Pigma Micron 005 pens so much... I hate it. Copic fineliners hold up better at that size.
