People's main complaint is no more new characters from DKC, like Cranky and KRool. Not to mention Warioware. Besides, we should also argue that Funky has not appeared in any other Mario sport game on the current console system.

Question is why not now. Dixie is already implemented in Tour version and she would had made sense for 8DX as well.
@@DoracakeProbably because Nintendo finished the Booster Course Pass. Unless they're planning another one, she won't be in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
