Lantana are beautiful and can make very interesting bonsai. Yours are off to a great start. Next time I’m down in Florida I’ll hunt down a couple. They’re very common down there. Thanks, keep growing
Very cool, brother! Lookin forward to seeing where you take these. I’m always lookin to see what I could do with “annuals” if I overwinter them. I’ll keep lantana on my list for next spring
Try a stake fork for barbecuing. That works great for loosening up the soil also. Cheap to. Well, I don't know now. Maybe a garage sale you can find one.
They say eating garlic will help. Working outside, no cologne or aftershave lotion. Attracts mosquitoes. For the ladie, no perfume. I wear a long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and a hat, no matter how hot it is when working in the evening when the little mosquitoes are out.
Not a fan of wiring the tree into the pot also. I use rocks till it settles in. If top heavy, I prune more off of the top. Nice repotting of the two. They will turn into some nice specimens.

Thanks Matt. See if you can find one with a well established trunk. I think you’ll have good luck in Florida.
Great to try something new. Nice looking and it has a trunk and a half on it. This will make a great bonsai for you.
Thanks Tom
Great video Steve good luck with a mate👍👍👍
Thanks Andy

The older wood gets very stiff and gnarly. And the flowers. Oh lord. Thanks as always Billy.
Very nice! Not something that would have occurred to me 😊
It’s a cool plant. I’ll have to feel my way during branch development.

It does work well. That’s certain

Keeps the vampires away too!

One of the Lantana I used stones, the other I wired in. I really don’t love doing that.
A profound question if I may - is there anyone who likes mosquitoes? 😊
No one I know. I swear by Thermacell (if you are going to be in one spot for a while. It doesn’t move with you).
