Thanks for letting us see what a day is like while you work. Yes, naps can make a very positive impact on your productivity. One job that I had for 5 years, I took a 45-minute nap during lunch every day and that made the second half of the day so much better! Keep up the good work!
When I was in Vietnam, I have learned English with foreign teachers a lot and they are friendly with me, they always help me with their passion 🥰 That's why we respect to them a lot
I am loving that nap time I need that in my life. Thanks for sharing your day in the life! I'll be getting a degree that centers around teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language in 2 years and I look forward to having days like this once I'm able to teach
Esiri this was so interesting to watch. Thank you for sharing your work life with us. And the kids are so adorable. I love your job and the fact that you love it more! Kudos teacher!
we need to implement that naptime here in American schools😂😂. love this video as i am interested in teaching abroad sometime in the future. thanks for the glimpse into this job :)
Thank you for sharing this wonderful moments 😍 I really liked what I saw. Plus, I liked your simple English which I'm sure will effect positively on those little kids you're teaching. I'm gonna be there ( to Vietnam ) soon 🔜 so, I wish we'll be partners in the field sooner 🥰.
This was very interesting. I was surprised that teachers take naps. I used to teach English as a Second Language when I was in graduate school, so this video caught my eye. Good presentation, as usual.
@@anhong2923 There are other types of verbs besides Action verbs. There are Stative verbs, Transitive Verbs, Intransitive verbs, Linking verbs, Helping (or Auxiliary) verbs, and Modal verbs, as well. But you make a good observation. You seem to know the answer already, right?
Everyone takes naps in Vietnam. When I came back to VN to visit my family, in the afternoon they all took a nap leaving wandering around the house myself lol.
She is promoting foreigners to come to Vietnam 😂. But in the future she will have problems 😂 it is already difficult for black people to get a job, and on may if they allow 3 month tourist visa, a lot of people will come 😂 so schools will rather to hire a girl with blue eyes, of 25 years old . It is cheaper to hire illegal tourist 😂 than giving a visa and work permit . In Vietnam they don't care about qualifications.

If you have worked as a teacher in Vietnam, then you will have a very special day November 20th, I think it will be a very surprising day when only in Vietnam
Hi!! Thank you so much for your videos! I have a question. Don't if you might know the answer but here it goes. I'm from Spain but I currently live in the Dominican Republic. I've been here for several years now. I went to school here and got my bachelor's degree from one of the local colleges (I'm a doctor). But I want a career change I want to go to Vietnam to work as an English teacher. I have all the required documents (bachelor's degree, TEFL certification, English proficiency certification, local policy check, photos...). Unfortunately, there is no Vietnamese embassy here. So, If I get my documents legalized here with the local authorities and then travel to Vietnam with them already legalized by my local government. For work permit purposes, I can, after landing a job, get them consular legalized in Vietnam, right?
From what I know, your documents has to be legalized by the Vietnamese embassy in your country, I’m not so sure if the documents can be legalized in Vietnam, you might have to do your research on that.
When a job posting is hourly pay and says say 20 teaching hours a week on average are you only paid for those hours or the full 8-9 hours your actually there at the school?
It is fun in Facebook they say that payment is 1300 USD for an European, for a Filipinos 700 ,800. For an African 1000 but they don't prefer Africans in most of cases. At the end if you don't get the 100 hours you can't get 1300 😂 . Africans and Russians think they can come in Vietnam and get a salary like that but it's not that easy. Finding a school that respects teachers is extremely difficult. Now if you are from USA or UK they respect you more .
As I have seen, vietnameese people like to workout. Don`t you think so? It must be some gym or park around your place somewhere. Maybe swimming pool? Have you ever been in a public swimming pool? Are they busy?
I really enjoyed the video ❤ I’d love to apply as a teacher in Vietnam although I’m still in Nigeria. Can you help with any website I can apply online or are there any vacancy in your school? I have 5 years experience teaching kids and I also have a masters degree.
Let's be honest. In Vietnam there are a lot of scams specially for Africans. An African girl told me she was going to pay 1500 USD 😂 to a school. I told her don't do it. Also I just live near the city and they don't want black, Filipinos, Indians. I was promised 1500 USD per month and I got 600 to 700 USD 😂. I can't just change the company easily. Maybe this lady was lucky, but in Vietnam the competition in the city is big. Also you will see a lot of Indians or Africans like angry because when more Foreigners are coming less job and school want to pay less money. Luckily I am the only Foreigner in my zone and I can get part-time jobs near my region. And luckily I look like a white person that's why they like me. Also I saw a lot of Africans working for Apax, and the accent is too strong.
@@angelpirulin9395 wow 😮 I’d love to do my PhD in Vietnam. Studies in English. Can you recommend a good school with low tuition? The ones I’ve contacted are offering PhD only in Vietnamese language
@@Naijagirlinportugal if you want to study, the university of Danang is cheaper, at least vietnamese language class. But not a lot of part-time jobs there. You will have to live with your money from your country. I think you will need 20.000 USD to study and come and the following year just 5000 USD. You can't work with a student visa, if your University discovers and you don't have attendance the following year you don't receive a Visa. They know a lot of people are trying to get the visa as an excuse to work illegally that's why you would need 20.000 ( that would include your tuition, airplane, visas, legalization, food, everything) I also wanted to study but I don't have the time, I just make 13 USD 😂 per hour, the first 2 or 3 months just made little money because not a lot of hours. When I do the conversion is not even 13 😂 this month for the first time 57 hours. I was promised 1300 USD 😂 but being honest I am receiving a lot of stress and I feel better not working so many hours in the same environment with the same children. I am the only Foreigner in my town so my boss is using me for another Schools. The salary would be for me 13 USD 😂 but probably my boss is receiving more be because I have to go by motorbike 14 minutes and it's dangerous. For the institutes it is easier borrow teachers because hiring a foreigner is extremely difficult Nowdays.
