YOU UP THERE? is a story of James (Giavani Cairo), an awkward but charming high school senior, who is convinced that God answered his prayers for “The One” in the form of Alexis (Allegra Edwards), a feisty, funny, and spirited young lady. But when he finds out that she doesn’t believe in God and won’t go out with him because of his faith, he hashes out a plan to prove God’s existence to her. Is there something more to Alexis’ atheistic beliefs? How will he convince her that God is real?

Mike Grimm thank you!! The age range is limitless. I have watched it two times. My daughter died eight years ago. I blamed myself never the Lord. It may sound weird but I never asked why she committed suicide. Because it wouldn't bring her back. I eventually got to the point I could forgive myself. Lexie forgiving herself made me cry so hard. It took me back to that day I said to God I can't live like this anymore. Totally surrendering her death could I have freedom. And my faith in God He would get me through it all. Dear GKCE thank you for responding to my testimony. April 7th 2014 I prayed a prayer that is this " Lord I don't know how you're going to take this horrendous tragedy and make something good out of it but use me." That prayer was eight years ago. Through the years the Lord has telling me to start writing about my journey. I heard Jonathan Roumie talk about totally surrendering every day everything.
On June 8th 2022 I had a second water baptism. 1984 was my initial water baptism. Born Again Christian. Now fast forward to 2022. I get overwhelmed with tears. God's unfailing love for me what He continues to do everyday
for me.
GKCE I believe my journey so far should be written into a book. I will start with everything I can remember. Please pray for me. God only knows what my future holds. I appreciate you Ms. Vargo and Mr. Roumie. Praying for you both and your ministry GKCE. Thank you for responding to my text it really sparked the flame to get started for the Lord 🙏❤🙌

I'm so glad my story resonated with you -- I also applaud your courage to surrender to the Lord under incredibly difficult circumstances. He's always reaching out to us if we're willing to meet Him. You are such a brave woman--what a tragedy...and a senseless loss...please don't blame yourself...there is so much going on in the minds of those who do this--and often, they are just trying to escape a pain that they don't understand and they just want to stop--no matter what the collateral damage is--they aren't thinking about that--only about getting out...I am sorry that this has been your given path--try to offer the suffering of your daughter and you up to God and ask him to use it for good--to save souls--to bring people to his side in heaven--and to turn this tragedy into a supernatural blessing for all--just like the death of Jesus--there is so much that we cannot see and understand on this side of eternity...know that you will see her again some day on the other side...dts/usa

This was so good! Major compliments to the writer - excellent story - well developed. - not cheesy easy Christian fluff - well done. I would not even have seen this if it weren’t for the connection with Jonathan Roumie from the Chosen. I only watched because it had him and my other favorites from the Chosen - George and Giovanni. But I am so glad that I did. I am also intrigued now by GK Chesterton and will be checking it out for more creative goodness. Thanks for bringing this bright offering to TH-cam!

Ps there were many moments that really gripped me. James sticking with Alexa through all her arguments & never giving up. And Alexas honesty about her atheism - & what a good person James is. And then slowly trusting him & opening up more & more. Then finally trusting God enough to pour out all her agony to Him - then finally forgiving herself. Thats when I started fighting tears. But it was the firefly that broke ne.❤ 2:27:41

My favorite humorous line,: "Doves are straight up savage, bro." Hysterical! Favorite part of the play is the raw honesty of Alexis's character.
Such a touching play ,performance .All of you did an incredible job ,
I so enjoyed this for different reasons. When I saw some of the actors from The Chosen were in it George 🕊🕊🕊🤗🤭and Giovanni were funny and frustrating (Giovanni) I could feel his shyness, reservations. What I loved most of all was since I could only listen to it, I just closed my eyes and imagined all of the it. It was amazing! I felt the emotions, feelings of all the characters. Anger, joy, giddiness, disappointment, grief, guilt. The list 📃 goes on. I'm still trying to forgive myself for emotional pain I caused to my daughter while trying to forgive my Xhusband and sister. Anywho, BRAVO TO ALL OF YOU 👏👏✊️👊👌🤌💋✌️🙏🤍🥰
Perfection! I cried and laughed. I watched it when it went LIVE. This is truly anointed. I was visualizing the whole story, the whole time. Bravo on the creative writing. Perfect cast as well. Bravo! ♥️🙌🏻🥰

Thank you so much for the captions!!! Now I understand what the stage direction position is! The narrator gave me imagination of the play on the stage!! I laughed at George's character with his "brother". It was so fun but also it was serious. I have to digest them in more. So I can watch it over and over. :)

I happened upon this tonight and it was thoroughly entertaining. Amidst laughter and tears I was so glad to see my ‘wee’ meager monthly donation and prayers are worthwhile!!! More than that - I was thoughtful about the gift of my deep faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you to all involved. Sooooo uhm you KNOWwww, IF you would like subtitles of this in different languages...PICK ME....LOL I am sure a lot of Chosen fans would love to help out and spread more and more good stuff! I also agree completely with Jonathan, this should be an actual thing...There is so little of quality, and having the Chosen and the way THAT is exploding around the world, people are starving for something more than nasty remakes and woke pieces!
