Guys our letter will come you just have to believe also dont you ever just wanna come to Hogwarts and see Draco because everytime he starts to cry he makes me cry…everytime he’s broken I just wanna hug him and tell him it’s ok…🥺I love you Draco❤️
That scene when draco fell off his broom and even Snape looked to see if he was ok and his own father just scowled at him and looked dissapointed. So heartbreaking
I dunno every time I watch this and scrolling the comment section and padd this I miss out that part and when I look back its arounf 1:44 to 1:50 snape's face ..
yes, this is why I love dark characters so much. They are so much more complex and interesting. I definitely would love if there was a movie called Draco Malfoy from the perspective of him instead of HP. I definitely think we would learn so much more about him. I don’t even think JK Rowling realizes how complex of a character she made, since she believes she wrote him as pure evil but she actually wrote him a good, she doesn’t know it herself
Oh I so agree! He’s worse off because of his folks, yet Draco and his mother were actually not as bad as they seemed, just trapped in the darkness. His mum lied when she told Voldemort Harry was dead when he wasn’t like that is such a big move! I was watching Tom Felton watch HP and actually when Draco introduces himself to Harry before the great hall, Ron is actually rude 1st by sniggering when he says his name then Harry rejects his handshake. Hermiones first impression isn’t great either yet she somehow wares them down. Ron a bit of a bummer too but being young in a big family is probably hard. I’d love to see a Draco movie it would be far more realistic. Harry’s real success would have been making friends with Slytherins and stamping out house cliques.
In the final scene, notice how Draco's expression was defiant when his father called him over to Voldemort's side, only to soften when his mother did;great acting by Tom Felton.
The part that hurt the most was when Draco's parents wanted him to join their side with the Death Eaters and you can just see that he doesn't want to go over there. He wants to be on the side that defeats Voldemort, but he can't and you can just see how that breaks him.
How I understood that scene was that draco didn't want to join them but he felt that he had no other choice after harry was dead, so he went over to the other side. But did he actually change sides because he went with his family and as a slytherin he stayed loyal to his family (well his mother) and technically the Malfoys fled from the war because they also didn't have a choice and so they didn't choose a side because they fled, (k idk if that made sence and it's also just how I perceived it, also don't take that the wrong way and think that I'm defending Lucius because I'm not, ew. I hate him but still)
Draco's character reminds me of a quote I read recently... "The ''villain'' will always be the villain as long as the story is being told by the "hero"."
harry potter: *the boy who lived* hermione: *the girl who knew* ron: *the boy who waited* ginny: *the girl who fought* neville: *the boy who hoped* luna: *the girl who believed* draco: *the boy who never had a choice*
@@remuslupin4458 Yeah. It’s like he’s always trying to impress his father, or save him from Voldemort, but Lucius doesn’t give a damn about his son, no matter what he does.
@@ShriyaditaSS are you sure about that? Last I checked from the books, Draco’s mum and da were both running through a battle, just screaming for their son. Lucius wouldn’t do that if he didn’t care about Draco, at least a little.

He didnt identify Harry, and I think he believed harry enough that he would escape, and when they were wrestling over wands he wasnt really trying very hard to win and take his wand from Harry and use it against him. If he told bellatrix it was Harry, and called Voldemort immediately, Harry would have been killed and his friends too. And the war would be over at that point so he saved everyone really
Phant0mNights But in the wand duel in the book, Draco was about to Crucio Harry, But Harry did his spell before his. Draco didn’t wanna do it.. he was just a boy.
Tom Felton is such an amazing actor, at the end when his father is calling him he does not care and looks away, but as soon as his mother takes his name, he melts, you could see it in his eyes. He portrayed so much emotion just by his eyes, made me ball my eyes out.
I KNOWWW thats what i was saying, he could care less if his father would call him, but his mother was the one hwo called him and he melted with her. if she wasnt there draco wouldnt go to the dark side
Totally. We started to realize that there is another perspective to the situation and learn that life is not all black and white. It is filled with grey parts
Why do people keep saying this? You guys just refuse to accept the wisdom of Dumbledore’s words, and thus fail to learn the moral. A difficult choice is NOT no choice. The fact that Voldemort lost lets you know that Draco clearly had choices. His PRIDE is what got him where he was, and he FREELY CHOSE the wrong path even when the person Voldemort COULDN’T DEFEAT extended his hand multiple times. You can’t possibly think that he thought his family was more at stake than everyone else there thought their own families were at stake. How do you not see that he had the SAME choice as literally everyone else there, yet he ALONE freely chose evil?
@@rhyca4804 please man, Albus is the worst possible person you can choose as a moral compass. He made all the wrong choices himself, driven by the 'greater good'. A man blind to everything else but his self-appointed mission. A man who used teenagers not in one war but in two. Wisdom my ass.
Gumiho o You honestly think that wise people are basically Jesus, having never sinned and lived perfect lives? To the comtrary, wise people are those who made mistakes - often grave - and learned from them. This is why Voldemort is not wise at all, but Dumbledore is. A wise person makes difficult decisions, even if others don’t approve, because those are the decisions that need to be made. It’s not unwise to “use” children if they need to be “used” to save the entire freaking world. Or do you honestly think it would have been wiser to sacrifice the world so Harry could have an easier life? Dumbledore was able to see the err in Draco’s decisions because Dumbledore made similar - albeit far less consequential - decisions in his own youth. He knew the tight relationship between dangerous decisions and their dangerous outcomes. He knew what pride could do to a person. And, most importantly, he understood that he was just as susceptible to making those decisions, as everyone else is. Lastly, how can you possibly think that someone telling you that your own choices have led you to where you are is less wise than someone telling you that you were basically under the imperious curse and acted not of your own will-when that is demonstrably untrue? Besides, I was referring to ROWLING’s moral lesson which she DELIVERED through Dumbledore’s words, not Dumbledore himself. I was saying that READER’s entirely miss the moral when they change the phrase from “you made all the wrong choices” to “you had no choices.” The moral is to make the right choice, even when the right choice is difficult. That’s the entire POINT of having a MORAL compass; it is to guide you when times are TOUGH and socially UNFAVORABLE for you. This is also how Snape in fundamentally moral in character despite having a despicable personality.
I'm not lying, this gave me tears to my eyes. NO ONE saw his pain, thats what makes it unbearable to see him suffer. he had absolutely no choice, they would have taken his life. he is just a character, but he is one of the ones i've seen who've suffered the most.
yeah it lowkey made me cry.. heres a whole paragraph i wrote abt this specific character: I really love how they put the emotions and actions of Draco Malfoy, it makes it really clear on what someone can be going through. It breaks me whenever I see him feeling guilty or scared. Whenever he sees his father his face turns into a frown, it really is heart-breaking considering the fact he didn't want to choose to be a Death Eater. Even if it's just a movie, it shows how much someone can change within a little time. When he was young his face was always a smile, even if it was sinister or not. Growing up he started becoming serious, depressed and worst of all, hating himself. These movies are probably one of the best I have honestly seen, and likely for many others too, as it shows so much emotion and power, it's unreal to think.
Forgiveness. That’s all Draco wanted. Yet, even as an adult, Harry refused to forgive. But Draco literally bared his soul to Harry, sharing some of his deepest secrets, even though Harry still refused to forgive him. “It’s very lonely, being Draco Malfoy. I will always be suspected. I can never escape the past.” Just that hurts my heart. Draco shouldn’t be lonely as an adult with a loving son, yet he is.
I don't think that Harry didn't forgive Draco because at the very end of the move even though they didn't talk, Draco gave him a slight nod to acknowledge their past and that now they are on good terms with each other
@@Raneem.Elmuhddiy then explain why Harry refused to help Draco in regards to Scorpius. Multiple times, Harry refused to help Draco’s son, BECAUSE he was Draco’s son.
Fun fact: Jk Rowling confirmed that afterwards, he carved the dark mark out his arm many times. Luna then did a spell making flower tattoos on his arm to cover it.... fun... Edit: Holy crap I did not expect people to even see this comments like....???? It was just what my friend (who is all up in Harry Potter) told me and seeing this reminded me of what she said. Wowza, idk whether I should feel proud or concerned.
He was waiting. Waiting for someone to say "NO STAY DRACO PLEASE" but he didn't have any real friends. He's not just the boy who had no choice, he's the boy who was broken and had no real friends too.
@@tiarasundaes3904 I know right I feel like Harry would have tried to and when Hermione asked Harry if Draco would've killed Dumbledore Harry defended Draco
Probably the shine from the hero’s make you forget their flaws. When we like and connected with someone more we tend to empathize with them more. And that’s make us forget the “villain” even in reality, villains are broken and misunderstood heroes. They have a reason, they have a story to tell but they have no one to hear the whole truth. They never have a chance to show the whole darkness behind all of their actions. A because of that, we never got a chance to see things from their perspective. We never got a chance to understand them. But it’s never too late, so remember to see someone’s perspective before we judge them, and be careful with what you saw cause their is always a flip side of it (This is just my thought at the moment. Sorry if it’s messy and it’s have grammars problems)
he wasnt a villain but he also made poor choices like calling hermione a mudblood stepping on harrys nose jinxing neville etc. he might have been broken but theres no excuse for doing that. but yes he wasnt evil
When his dad called him he had a disgusted expression, but when his mom called him he changed his expression, his mum was the only one that understood him
I think i know Why Draco is my favorite character, it’s because i relate to him. No one sees his tears , no one sees his pain and no one sees his sadness.
In the last scene, when Narcissa walks away holding Draco's hand while Lucius is just scared shows her love and determination for Draco and she don't give a damn about Voldemort. I think in the movies, she was the first one who left Voldemort. Harry Potter was saved by Lily, a mother's love and sacrifice. Draco was indirectly saved by Narcissa, she took such a huge risk by lying to Voldemort about Harry 's death. She took Draco's hand and walked away at the first chance she got, she didn't even flinch or turned back, she just walked away holding her Son's hand.
This is why I hate Lucius and Love Narcissa. Lucius put his Son through so much, even forced him to join the dark Side! But all Narcissa cared about was her son, she didn’t care if Voldemort came back or not, all she wanted was for her son to be safe.
Blue Coffee no, I actually feel bad for Lucius, he wanted his son to do what he sad because he truly hated Voldemort, he would always get abused and hurt by his words. Lucius only did it for Dracos safety

Yeah, I hate it when people think badly of Draco. Yet, I also hate it that J.K Rowling said for us to stop fangirling over Draco. Don't make him so helpless if you don't want us to fangirl over him. Draco x Harry is cute though!
Honestly if there is another Harry Potter series and it would be with their children I would love to act as Draco's child because I understand him so damn much
@Fuert Neigt Emm tell that to everyone on tiktok look just try and keep your opinion to yourself he has been In other things and in my opinion is good looking now
Fuert Neigt seems like you’re the ugly adult whether it be inside or out. Why do you feel the need to say a person with cancer is ugly they’re literally battling a cancerous illness. Before you say you didn’t say that you practically did by saying he grew up to be an ugly adult it looks like he has cancer. You never know what a person is going through so what makes you feel entitled to voice your opinion on that matter. You should reevaluate yourself baby ✨
Not to forget we were robbed of the scene where Draco runs to give Harry his wand, he yelled 'Potter' with concern & not hatred which he had been doing. Honestly it was unfair to delete it bcz the audience needs to know that he had good in him as well & so he shouldn't get the hate. He was just a kid who was made to think a certain way but it doesn't mean he liked it, I mean before he did but he changed. If he liked it later then he wouldn't have been suffering, torn between choosing his friends or family. Only those people who have understood the characters in depth will know. We're all human & we all made mistakes. I recommend you watch 'A silent voice'.
Even as his parents called him to join them he hesitated, he waited, but not a single person asked him to stay not one of them gave him a chance to prove that he's not evil and its awful. The most misunderstood character I have even read about and watched.
Yes that part killed me when no one tried to stop him. Just imagine how different it would have been for him if someone was there with him to say “don’t go” “stay” 🥺🥺
Harry had friends to protect and comfort him, and everyone loved him. Draco had nobody, and nobody saw his tears and sadness. They only saw his mistakes.
Draco wasn't a bad person. He's just a child with too many expectations. He's always so scared of the horrible things happening around him while trying himself to just stay alive. I feel jealous at times at how much his mother tries to keep him safe.
Draco’s self worth was emotionally tied to an abusive father. His dad had a powerful hold over him because of that. He stood no chance. He was trying so hard to make his dad proud that he never saw his father’s flaws. That’s why he snubs him at the Battle of Hogwarts, he accepted the truth. His entire life and persona was founded on lies drilled into him by his father. That’s a huge betrayal.
We need a movie called Draco Malfoy, it would be the same story line but from his perspective. Just imagine how amazing it would be to see how complex his character is. Even JK Rowling didn’t realize what kind of character she wrote. She imagined him pure evil but he came out as good. She wrote him but her words created a whole different character than her vision
Totally agree with you. Like how can even his author describes his character so differently with how the readers view him?? And it is quite numbers, the said readers. JK Rowling said it was probably bcause the actor Tom Felton was so good playing Draco Malfoy, being girl crush and all that, but I found it far from true, since I still find myself crying for this boy even after I read the novels. Like seriously, I began reading FFN and search for his stories that can at least soothe my feelings.
@@revoier239 Yes, it is for Tom Felton. If he was ugly as Crabbe or Goyle no one of you would love him. I am currently reading the books and in the first 4 books he is a really evil character, a coward, bully, liar and weak... but in the films, he is pretty so girls as you love him for that only for that nothing more... It is compare to the groupy phenomenon with artists like Justin Bieber or Harry styles....
he was never evil he just had no one, ever. he created a cover, he was all alone. he never had any choices. he just wanted a story, a person. in the last scene you see he looked around to see if someone would stop him but no one did.
Ye so true. That’s why he’s like my favorite. He is real, he tries his best with the none existent choices and sometimes I wonder why people think he did wrong to be willing to kill Dumbledore. My favorite argument is if what Draco did doesn’t make him a villain then why is Peter a villain. Well for starters Peter was an adult and I expect more from an adult the from a teenager/barely over age, Dumbledore wasn’t Draco’s best friend since age 11 (I think most people think what Peter did was even worse because he was so close with the Potters and that made the whole thing a lot more personal) what I’m trying to say is that what Draco did WAS WRONG but I personally don’t think he had much of a choice or reason not to do what he did, especially since the urge to keep yourself and your family safe is a lot stronger the the one to keep the headmaster alive.
CrazyCat 243 There is a saying about this. „You Cant judge someone without accepting their arguments as valid“ because if you think someone is wrong you cannot judge them since obviously you don’t understand their point. So basically 90% of peoples judgements aren’t valid
i think so too, i think he also didn’t quite know how to be truthfully nice. you can tell he didn’t want to be a death eater but he didn’t see a choice, it seems like he’s scared of his dad
Draco doesn't deserve this. He wanted approval from his father, his father directed him on the path that he himself walked. He just wanted love and care from his parents and Astoria died. It is very difficult to carry such a burden on oneself. Every time I see sadness on Draco's face, I want to hug and support him. After all, we have almost the same fate. Draco is forever in my heart ❤
*Why Draco Is My Favourite Character* • *Draco isn't a bad guy, he's just misunderstood..* • *he was forced to join the dark side..* • *he's a good person..* • *he saved Harry's life..*
Draco isn’t “the bad guy” he didn’t have a choice. He’s my favorite character, he practically just gets beat up constantly, but keeps trying to prove himself.
thats kind of true kind of not. on the first 5 books he constantly bullies everyone for no reason, eventually he realises he's not evil but i dont know if that makes him a great person either
coro ' you’re right but also not really true. Keep in mind that he was a child, a young and spoiled child at that. This was how he was raised, how his father acted and how he thought he could act. I’m not saying that bullying is right or in any way defendable I’m just saying that he was young and probably didn’t really understand, to take it further I’m guessing he was jealous, if his father really was saying that Draco was a disappointment all through out Draco’s childhood then the 11 year old probably believed it and took it out on others. Or maybe he just felt entitled, perhaps both or something else completely. Either way he seemed to grow and release that being mean isn’t right and kind of stopped being that kind of person. I know he’s still a b***h to Harry and the golden trio but it feels a bit forced like less for the fun of it and more just because that’s how he used to act. I might be wrong but I think he wanted to change he just never had the chance. He never really had a choice. I know many people say that he did and in some ways he might have but in reality it’s much harder to see those choices when you are in that situation. Anyways I think he was willing to be a better person, to do the right thing, he wasn’t a assassin and he wasn’t an evil person. Maybe he wasn’t the nicest guy and he probably made all the wrong choices but the thing is he still had time to change, to become a better Draco Malfoy. The sad thing was that just as he seemed to release this himself everything changed, and how can any of you expect him a teenager to make the right choice and let himself and probably his family die just for being a hero? Maybe I’m just a d**k but I for sure would rather be on the dark side the knowing that my family would die or live a miserable life because of me. I guess I just really relate to him in someways....
draco is seriously my favorite character, he's constantly dealing with judgement, loneliness, and choices he can't control. He doesn't want help because he doesn't know how to accept it he is such a great character! And Tom did so amazing with this role
no but his life is, i dare say, the most miserable out of all character, even after the war ended. His name is tainted, his wife died (and he remain loyal to her, refusing to remarry), his son was bullied for being a Malfoy, people thought his son is Voldemort's son, his relationship with his parents worsen bcs he and Astoria refuse to teach Scorpius about pure-blood's belief.
All the comments say "dracos not bad" And it's true Draco was sad He was scared He was hurting He never wanted to hurt anyone, he genuinely had no choice. When ur young you hate the villains. But now you understand them.
Honestly i want to throw everyone who's saying "no he's just bad and spoiled and a bully theres nothing more" into Draco's situation. You guys don't understand that nobody, NOBODY else could have acted any better if they were treated like him and under such big pressure. We people here are NOT denying that he's been mean at times, we're just saying that there is much more behind it. Get it right.
@@monmon_xoxo movies exist to entertain people and thrill them. And getting attached to a fictional character and thinking about their story a lot proves intelligence.
Oh my god yes! That's why he acted the way he did, because he was worried about his mother. She was the only one who truly cared for him. I believe that all draco needed was a little more love. I feel so so sorry for him.
Txri.bxildsx C: his mother was the only one he trusted, if you remember when his mother called him he only went when his mother called for him, he didn’t want his father, he only did it to protect his mother. She was the only one actually worried and there for him, when Draco got hurt Lucius didn’t even care, but narcissa in the deathly hallows was worried and asked Harry if he was ok! Now that’s a true mother
Yes Lucius was harsh on him (and I don’t really like him that much) but in the second part of the Hogwarts battle he and Narcissa ran around and not bothering to fight wand less and shouting for Draco
Yeah but it's basically the same choice as Mark Jefferson and Sean Prescott in "Life is Strange". Both suck. And poor Draco dude just clings to bad people, without realizing Snape was also toxic as fuck.
The people that stills misunderstoods Draco after this needs to clean their minds. This video shows how much he suffered and that he had no intentions to hurt anyone, not even Harry. This is why I could never hate his character. He was trying the best with what he had. He was trying to survive. He got dealt a shitty hand in the game of life. He didn't want it. But he couldn't change it. He was just a boy, as Narcissa said. He was manipulated. He never had a choice. I think under different circumstances, if he weren't born with Lucius as a father, if he lived in a world where Voldemort and the death eaters didnt exist, he would have been a great asset and example in Slytherin House. Given it a better name. Used his cunning and ambition for good, instead of letting fear and misguided arrogance get the best of him. He was able to build a good life for himself, after, despite the evil of his past that I'm sure haunted him for the rest of his life. He's strong. He could have been a lot like Harry, if he had the people Harry did, to surround and influence him with good. Some people may say, "oh but Harry grew up with the Dursleys raising him and they were awful to him" well believe me. Being raised by a cruel father, someone that is your direct flesh and blood and has complete ownership of your life, is on a completely different level than being raised by someone that isn't. Extended family the Dursleys may have been, but they were never pivotal to Harry's character. They didn't shape him. They brought him misery but they did not have lifechanging influence. Draco is the boy who never stood a chance with the circumstances he was given. I can't bring myself to feel anything but sorrow for him. A child deserves better.
When I read the books, I hated Malfoy’s character. He was stuck up, arrogant, prideful, a bully, and just plain mean. But when I watched the movies, Draco became one of my favorite characters. He was just a kid who grew up with way too much being thrown on his shoulders every year, until it got to be too much, and he felt he couldn’t say or do anything about that except try to comply, even though he knew he couldn’t. I also feel like Harry and Draco could have been really really good friends. They cared for each other, more than either of them ever preferred to admit. They both had titles they didn’t really want to live up to, Draco as a Death Eater and Harry as the Chosen One. They could have understood each other so well. Also, the SIRIUS BLACK at the end!!! Like, my heart broke at that. Great job with this vid! It was amazing! ❤
Draco is my favorite character (up there right next to Snape). Everyone’s always against him and think I’m crazy for liking him most but he really didn’t have a choice. He was born on the wrong side, and he couldn’t change that. He didn’t kill Dumbledore, and he didn’t rat out Harry to Bellatrix. Through all his hardships he still tried to do good. Thank you for portraying him as the person he really is, just a boy who didn’t have any choice.
I feel like Draco and Snape are portrayed so realisticly, they are people with flaws and less fortunate circumstances. Agreed, they get more hate then they deserve. In the end, in real life, nobody intents to be evil.
Draco Malfoy was never a monster. He was a boy with no choice. (Edit): when did I write this-😭💀 (Edit): not half y’all saying “how did you forget it’s been three months”
Lmao nice joke, kid. Do you know who was the *REAL* boy-with-no-choice? It was Harry James Potter. Yes, you heard me correctly. All of his decisions didn't matter if you know that it would lead him to death anyway. Harry was not a coward, he chose to sacrifice himself for hogwarts, friends and family and finally he met the death as an old friend. And what about Draco Malfoy? He's not a monster, yes, he is a *coward* and a *brat* . Some people are saying that when you're "young" then you hate Draco but when you "get older" (read it as hit the puberty) you start to like him and even or even love him. Honestly Draco is like a marvel Loki, all you you do is just feel bad for him. He's not even a villain or "misundersood character", *Draco is just a pathetic disappointment.* Rowling was right the whole time.
@@АнастасіяМисюра To be honest, Draco is a pretty cowardly person and a sort of bully. But to me it seems like he's just a person who wanted to prove himself to his father. He was led to believe by his father that joining the death eaters was a deal of great honor but then he gets forced to do a mission with horrible possibilities. Either way, It was likely he would die in both situations. To be honest though, some people only sympathize with Draco Malfoy because they think Tom Felton is hot and don't want to see him cry. this hurt so bad. if he would have had ONE person... literally one, just there for him, to love him, to care for him, to tell him he would be ok... but he didn’t. he was misunderstood, unloved, manipulated, abused, depressed, used, terrified... of himself, the dark lord, his father, what other people thought of him... and i feel bad for him. he deserved so much better. i just wanna give him a hug.
This started so much for me. I'm a huge HP fan and Draco is by far my favorite character. I watched this and it honestly touched my heart. Months later I auditioned with Lovely for an all-school event and ended up being the main act of a graduation ceremony with this song, all thanks to this video. So thank you so much for this, and for communicating so much to all of us.
Yeah man, go to the heartsmiths. He’s got all sorts of hearts and bits to fix hearts. He’s right down there Male a left then a right then down hill then left then left then right then uphill then right of the bakers and then uphill from the tailors then right then straight down and your there!
I feel guilty for laughing at him when I was younger. He wasn't evil, after all ; he was just born on the wrong side... and at the end, he chose not to kill Dumbledore, or more likely couldn't, knowing it could cost him his own life ; which only proves one thing : he is not evil...
Like from the audience? Because I didn't. I wasn't a huge fan of the characters at all for the longest time, any of them. I came to like them because of fanfiction and fanvideos, actually, not because of the original work, but of the fans' emphasis on the better aspects of the series.
After 12 freakin years almost, still gets goosebumps and wonders watching this series, this particular series is still ahead of some big and great budget series in terms of story line, VFX, characters and what not!
Draco Malfoy and the sorcerers stone Draco Malfoy and the chamber of secrets Draco Malfoy and the prisoner of Azkaban Draco Malfoy and the goblet of fire Draco Malfoy and the order of the Phoenix Draco Malfoy and the half blood prince Draco Malfoy and the deathly hallows part 1 Draco Malfoy and the deathly hallows part 2
ill agree he never had a choice for most the bad things he did but like jinxing neville calling hermione mudblood and stepping on harry, that stuff he had a choice for, he just made a horrible choice
I think he definitely had choices, but he wasn’t taught to make the right choices. His behavior was learned from his father. He was taught that purebloods were the only people who mattered and no one was there to show him different, so he felt pressure to be the perfect pureblood his dad wanted him to be.
The bathroom breakdown scene, my goodness. It gets me every time. He can’t take all of this. It’s so real. It’s a wonderful and heartbreaking interpretation of a panic attack.
I think that was more heartbreaking than any scene with Harry who saw someone die. After watching the movies again and again.. I think that Harry didn't get enough scenes where he really shows his sadness for all the losses... So these scenes with Draco were very dark and so touching. I wish they put more attention to his character.
Everyone regards Draco as evil. He doesn’t act willingly He doesn’t act happily He wants to be Harry’s friend He wants to be free of his father He wants happiness But he’s never had any of that in the films, that’s what no one understands
Right me too, I always wondered why harry never tried to save him as he always tried to save everyone else. Like that moment in the bathroom could of been a turning point for then both
I love draco malfoy. He actually is a good person but his parents take him over to the dark side. If you see the the deleted scenes of Harry Potter and the deathly hallows pt.2 then when harry falls out of hagrid's hand Draco runs to Harry and screams "Potter Potter" and throws Harry his wand to finish off Voldemort
He became a death eater because he wanted to be voldemort's favourite, and when he did become one, he was proud asf to be one of the youngest death eaters ever. Have you even READ the books?

That scene when draco fell off his broom and even Snape looked to see if he was ok and his own father just scowled at him and looked dissapointed. So heartbreaking
Not only disappointed, disgusted

I feel soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry for draco
Draco is one of the best characters in the series. Tom Felton acted so well.
Agreed
yes, this is why I love dark characters so much.
No I think Snape saying "always" is way more intense
Yes Agreed ❤
In the final scene, notice how Draco's expression was defiant when his father called him over to Voldemort's side, only to soften when his mother did;great acting by Tom Felton.

The part that hurt the most was when Draco's parents wanted him to join their side with the Death Eaters and you can just see that he doesn't want to go over there. He wants to be on the side that defeats Voldemort, but he can't and you can just see how that breaks him.
Flower Girl and he only did it after his mother called for him, not Lucius, that says a lot about Lucius as a father
He played his role so well
*crying in expelliarmus*
How I understood that scene was that draco didn't want to join them but he felt that he had no other choice after harry was dead, so he went over to the other side. But did he actually change sides because he went with his family and as a slytherin he stayed loyal to his family (well his mother) and technically the Malfoys fled from the war because they also didn't have a choice and so they didn't choose a side because they fled, (k idk if that made sence and it's also just how I perceived it, also don't take that the wrong way and think that I'm defending Lucius because I'm not, ew. I hate him but still)
If I was there I would help Draco
Draco's character reminds me of a quote I read recently... "The ''villain'' will always be the villain as long as the story is being told by the "hero"."

I was saying that READER’s entirely miss the moral when they change the phrase from “you made all the wrong choices” to “you had no choices.”
The moral is to make the right choice, even when the right choice is difficult. That’s the entire POINT of having a MORAL compass; it is to guide you when times are TOUGH and socially UNFAVORABLE for you. This is also how Snape in fundamentally moral in character despite having a despicable personality.

yeah it lowkey made me cry.. heres a whole paragraph i wrote abt this specific character:
I really love how they put the emotions and actions of Draco Malfoy, it makes it really clear on what someone can be going through.

But it’s never too late, so remember to see someone’s perspective before we judge them, and be careful with what you saw cause their is always a flip side of it
(This is just my thought at the moment. Sorry if it’s messy and it’s have grammars problems)

True mother's love😭
This is why I hate Lucius and Love Narcissa. Lucius put his Son through so much, even forced him to join the dark Side! But all Narcissa cared about was her son, she didn’t care if Voldemort came back or not, all she wanted was for her son to be safe.

CrazyCat 243 sadly I did my I regret
I just can half agree with this.
CrazyCat 243 There is a saying about this. „You Cant judge someone without accepting their arguments as valid“ because if you think someone is wrong you cannot judge them since obviously you don’t understand their point. So basically 90% of peoples judgements aren’t valid

@@coro5895 idk
coro ' you’re right but also not really true.

To be honest, Draco is a pretty cowardly person and a sort of bully. But to me it seems like he's just a person who wanted to prove himself to his father. He was led to believe by his father that joining the death eaters was a deal of great honor but then he gets forced to do a mission with horrible possibilities. Either way, It was likely he would die in both situations.
