- Yup, it's yet another version of my logo history of ABS-CBN. But this is largely because, well, they're celebrating their 70th year.
Happy 70th, Kapamilya!
Profile:
ABS-CBN is a Philippine commercial television and new media network, and program distributor and television production company (operating under the name of ABS-CBN Entertainment) that serves as the flagship property of ABS-CBN Corporation, a company under the Lopez Group. ABS-CBN is colloquially referred to as the Kapamilya Network; this branding was originally introduced in 1999 and was officially introduced in 2003 during the celebration of its 50th anniversary.

Peter Musngi was still remained as the second voice-over talent of ABS-CBN for almost four decades since its return to television on-air and launched back in 1986 as The Star Network replacing the former first voice-over talent George Boone following the EDSA People Power Revolution in the same year where the late former President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. was removed from the office into his exile in Hawaii, U.S.A., and the late President Corazon C. Aquino declared winner in the 1986 Presidential Snap Elections and taking over Malacañang Palace as the 1st female president of the Republic of the Philippines from 1986 until 1992.

Technically si George Boone yung unang voiceover ng ABS-CBN when it re-opened in 1986 and Peter Musngi replaced him by the time they have launched "The Star Network" brand in March 1, 1987.

77 years since June 13, 1946 established as a company name BEC (now as a ABS-CBN Corporation)
70 years since October 23, 1953 (ABS-CBN The Kapamilya Network) the first and the oldest tv broadcast in the Philippines and the second oldest tv broadcast in asia three months after the first broadcast of Japan's NHK General TV and Nippon Television.
