How to Hard Reset Samsung S22 / S22+ / S22 Ultra Update 2024
Ensure that your device is powered off. If it's not responding, you may need to perform a forced restart by pressing and holding the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously for about 10-15 seconds until the device restarts.
Once the device is powered off, press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button simultaneously.
Continue holding both buttons until you see the Samsung logo appear on the screen.
When the Samsung logo appears, release both buttons.
You should now see the Android system recovery menu on your screen. You can navigate through this menu using the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons to highlight options and the Power button to select them.
Use the Volume Down button to navigate to the "Wipe data/factory reset" option.
Once "Wipe data/factory reset" is highlighted, press the Power button to select it.
Confirm your selection by navigating to and selecting "Yes" using the Volume buttons and Power button.
The device will now begin the factory reset process, which may take a few minutes to complete. Once finished, you will be returned to the main recovery menu.
Use the Volume buttons to highlight the "Reboot system now" option and press the Power button to select it.
Your Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, or S22 Ultra will now reboot, and upon startup, it will be restored to its factory settings.
