I had my horse, Basil, for 11 years and only lost him in March. Even when he was young, he had the personality of a calm, wise old man. It comes with the name. Warms my heart to have a new Bazzy in the world. The circle of love continues 💛

One big thing that helped when we introduced our second dog was making sure we always gave food, treats and toys to our older dog first to let her know we viewed her as higher up in the family ranking 😂 sounds silly but dogs find those things important! Happy for you & your mom!!

Then walk back and take another bite and walk away to eat it again. It was so funny and cute when she did that, maybe it's a thing that some dogs do!
